I had a real crush on Gordon in my teens and was heartbroken when he went to you know who. Never forgave him and have hated the other lot ever since.

Yeah, I was heartbroken when Gordon and Big Joe went to Scum.

This will be hard for Gordon and his family.

Terrible disease. Poor guy.

I recall him smashing his knee defending a corner playing for Scotland v Wales in the Home Internationals and as a result he missed going to the WC in Argentina 1978.

I wonder if Allys Tartan Army would have floundered as badly if big Gordon was there.
