When you watch this it makes you yearn for the old days of football... I cannot think of a player nowadays who would have even tried to get up from that tackle, would have rolled around crying untill they got a penalty ... great stuff

I never saw Trevor play for Leeds. I was brought up in a Bradford City supporting household but did see Trevor play for them and then manage them for 2 years from 85-87. Off the pitch, especially after the fire disaster, Trevor showed his class and compassion. He was a thoroughly decent man away from the pitch as well as on it and while Leeds will rightly forever hold him in the highest regard, he is remembered just as fondly by supporters of both Bradford & Huddersfield.
