Swannie I remember the days when there was people waiting at the pit gates to ask part time players if they could turn up at Hunslet, Cas etc .... those were the dayswhiteswan wrote: ↑Mon Jun 28, 2021 8:03 pm BREAKING NEWS (BBC SPORTS APP)

… 24 nil against Saints. That’s our best performance in a league game for 20 years.whiteswan wrote: ↑Mon Jun 28, 2021 8:03 pm BREAKING NEWS (BBC SPORTS APP)

Re: Super League 2021
And some of the best players in the game came from that recruitment. As I’ve stated elsewhere my dad was a miner and as a young’un I was amazed that he knew all the Cas players. Wee Roger Millward was a mate of my dad, and Mick Redfearn, who was Cas’ goal kicker, taught me how to kick a ball, he was a rubbish teacher, mind.Smudge3920 wrote: ↑Mon Jun 28, 2021 8:08 pm Swannie I remember the days when there was people waiting at the pit gates to ask part time players if they could turn up at Hunslet, Cas etc .... those were the days

Re: Super League 2021
Seems a shame to make it 24 nil. Why not just give the points to Saints, especially because of the way the league posotions will be decided his yearOrange Box wrote: ↑Tue Jun 29, 2021 8:44 am … 24 nil against Saints. That’s our best performance in a league game for 20 years.

Re: Super League 2021
Saints fans will be gutted at only 24, the 2 or 3 games against cas will usually net them 100+ in the points for column. They have been our bogey team for as long as I can remember.

Looks like longy has the backs doing abit now to match the the strong pack. Hopefully the Rhinos can keep it up today and when we get some more players back.

Castleford awarded 24 - 0 win over Huddersfield for today as Giants cannot field a 17 man squad due to Covid

Re: Super League 2021
That must’ve been a game of ‘who blinks first’ and for once Cas held their nerve

Re: Super League 2021
Cas under 16s 18 - Salford under 20s 70.
That’s it, I give in this season. I can’t cope anymore.

Re: Super League 2021
Not much of a season in my opinion. Seems to be a lot of Covid ravaging games, although Cas played the juniors to save their players for the Cup Final, nothing to do with Covid. Great for Salford mind, but not all the teams struggling around themOrange Box wrote: ↑Sun Jul 11, 2021 4:36 pm Cas under 16s 18 - Salford under 20s 70.
