I don't think I hate (or before anyone says "hate is a strong word", really dislike) them as much as I used to.

I think I hate Man City more, because it's all such a complete load of nonsense, a club that was going nowhere struggling to fill a stadium despite all the success when it got billions thrown at it as an exercise in sportswashing by a genocidal regime.

The other things that made me less hateful was (i) they win nothing these days and half a halfwit as a manager and they're completely messed around by their owners and (ii) they actually did fairly straight business with LUFC for Ferdinand and Smith when clubs and players were completely milking the economic collapse, like Liverpool and Kewell ensuring his agent got more money than Leeds, or the Bowyer mess.

I have no problem with using the term hate in a sporting sense. A sporting hate is not usually the same as real hate (except for the minority).

They are still top of my hate list.

Hard pressed on this one, but for me Chelsea is the top of my "hate" list.

But this is not a 1 - 2 kind of thing, it's more like 1 and 1A. Nothing would please me more than to see both sides end the season 0 - 2- 36.

Chelsea are top of my dislike list ever since the 1970 cup final when I was laughed at in the school playground by all the other Chelsea loving kids ( it got worse the following year after the Colchester debacle ) . I’ve nursed a serious grudge ever since . No other club comes close .

Scum are a perpetual second for me , my second most disliked .Chelscum by far more so nowadays , used to be, of all teams , the most insignificant Ipswich . I really really can't stand Chelsea though now , I suppose the Lampard link sealed it ( spygate) .I know you will all think the tractor boys an odd one , but don.'t forget the name Clacton , all you used to hear down here we Ipswich .Don't like Spurs much either but they lag s bit behind .

Funny none of the teams mentioned (other than Sara, with Sheffield Utd) are Yorkshire neighbours. Do you think if the likes of Wednesday, Bradford, Huddersfield, Barnsley were seen as serious rivals on the field.....or would the serious animosity still be retained for the likes of Chelsea and Man Utd ?

Don’t really get the Villa hate/dislike.

Wondered if the likes of Derby or Sunderland might get a shout.

I’m sure above all those mentioned however, that sits a certain team in Turkey though !
