Should have said they have the highest net spend (or atleast top 2).
Swiss Ramble did a proper educated count up back when the Super League shite started of the last 5 years.
He is some sort of accountant, used accounts.
1. Man City – £704m
2. Man Utd – £655m
3. Arsenal – £363m
4. Everton– £326m
5. Chelsea– £317m
6. Liverpool – £278m
7. Wolves – £234m
8. West Ham – £230m
9. Aston Villa – £210m
10. Brighton & Hove Albion – £205m
11. Leicester City – £199m
12. Tottenham Hotspur – £173m
13. Fulham – £132m
14. Crystal Palace – £109m
15. Newcastle United – £105m
16. Burnley – £95m
17. West Bromwich Albion – £67m
18. Southampton – £64m
19. Sheffield United – £47m
20. Leeds United – £39m
All of the net stuff has the two Manchester clubs top 2, that figure above wont include the £70mil Sancho transfer either

We do tend to start the season strongly, so if there is a time to catch them with their pants down it's now.

Lets prove Olly right ...Leeds United will pose a challenge to Manchester United when the two square off next weekend, according to Ole Gunnar Solskjaer.
The opening gameweek of the Premier League will see the Whites take on their age-old rivals at Old Trafford.
In this fixture last season, Leeds suffered a humiliating 6-2 defeat at the hands of the Red Devils, but Solskjaer remains wary of the threat Marcelo Bielsa’s side can pose on their day
Re: Scum/Manure Thread - their fans concerned.
Despite the very poor pre season, the poor transfer window so far, the injury issues that are already starting to appear, i am cautiously optimistic for the 1st match vs Manure.
We always seem to start well.
If it wasnt for a dodgy penalty (that under the rules now wouldn't be given) then we would have drew with Liverpool last season opening day.
And that wasnt an injury ravaged side that was them at full strength just months removed from winning the league title.
A far superior side than Manure were last season or are now i would imagine.
We can beat them i have no doubt, but we will have to play far far far better than we have this pre season.

I'd say Bielsa will have every single plan devised for this game. The one small cloud over a remarkable season was that loss in Manchester. It was a bizarre game, with 2 goals from an unlikely source inside 3 minutes, I suspect this will be a much closer one.

McTominay only managed two more goals over the rest of the season, hope we don't go to sleep in the opening minutes on SaturdayMountain wrote: ↑Mon Aug 09, 2021 1:19 pm I'd say Bielsa will have every single plan devised for this game. Cristiano Ronaldo closing in on a return after many years being successful and winning trophies abroad.
The 36 year old is bored of winning titles and trophies and so fancies 2 years on £300k a week with Ole at the wheel.

Passed his prime. Wasn't making Juve's starting line up at the end of last season, and they have a better manager the clown they have in charge there. Too many ego's in their squad I hope.
Re: Scum/Manure Thread
Probably right unfortunately
Fortunately Ole is the great liability

Re: Scum/Manure Thread
SKY already wall to wall manure and Ronaldo, its pathetic but predictable
Re: Scum/Manure Thread
Just as Cavani did last season Ronaldo will score plenty of goals for Manure.
