Re: Manchester City Thread
Although the fee for grealish was objectively high, anyone who has watched him play knew he would be a fantastic signing for them. He's an absolutely terrific player, probably the type of player we're missing actually
Re: Manchester City Thread
Citeh not only get a penalty overturned but also Walker's red card.
Was a blatant foul.

Re: Manchester City Thread - Penalty & Walker red card overturned. WHY?
Unbeliveable why Citeh got that right decision overturned via VAR compared to the Struijk incident last week
Also VAR didn't pop up on the big screen when the Newcastle defender got James & not the ball.
Incredible! of course they are a ESL club

The James decision was an awful one though, but I'd imagine it didn't come on the screen because it was reviewed whilst.the game was going on

Re: Manchester City Thread
Manchester City forward Ferran Torres has been ruled out for four to six weeks after fracturing his right foot on international duty.
The Spain international was replaced early in the second half after scoring twice against Italy in the Nations League semi-final.
He was deemed fit to start Sunday's final, but was forced off before the end of the defeat by France in Milan.

Re: Manchester City Thread
Real shock for Citeh last weekend, even the great teams are vulnerable when they go down to ten men.
Re: Manchester City Thread
After Citeh's shock defeat vs Palace, they hit back with a vengeance last night in the Champions League

Poor reffing in the Palace game, but Gallagher gets an assist and goal... Shame we looked down our noses at him when we were looking to buy ...

More like he looked down his nose at us. He chose to go to Palace.

I think Faaip was probably referring more to us fans looking down our noses at him.
I don't blame him going to Palace it meant he could still live locally and could learn from Vieira.

I mean you're changing clubs, you're surely gonna do some research. So if he did read the forums then he'd have noted the wave of antipathy toward him....

Re: Manchester City Thread
Maybe!
I reckon it was the location issue that made Conor's mind up. London, Manchester & Liverpool are far more preferable destinations for many footballers.
Re: Manchester City Thread
I seem to remember a couple of northern clubs we're interested in Eze when he was at QPR but he said he wanted to stay in London and went to Palace

Re: Manchester City Thread
Utter bollocks.
I know footballers have a lot of time on their hands, but, they're hardly bother going on footy forums to see what the fans think of them, it would have probably been 50/50 anyway.
Imagine a player being offered £200,000 a week, reading a footy forum, a few keyboard warriors don't like him , so he goes elsewhere for less brass , YAWN.
