1st half

Slow start from us, Llorente with a good block after 3
Bamford does well to force a save from BPF - 9m
Scrappy so far - 14m
Dallas over the top after good build up work from Harrison and Alio 16m
Alo gives away FK, central and shooting distance 17m
Wood leaves a bit in on Meslier ... 17m
Meslier takes ball off Wood's head 20m
Dallas shot centre edge of box is deflected over - corner 21m
Tarkoffski knee into Llorente's back - 22m - Llorente getting treatment 23 and limps off 24m
Raphinha draws foul right side, Llorente back on 25m
Series of Leeds corners, no real chances coming from them. Dallas not beating the first man on two of them 27m
Great touch pass from Klich sets up Raph who's first touch is wanting 30m
Great cross from Phillips and Struijk heads wide, great opportunity and good powerful header misses the far post 31m
Bamford risks a yellow with a late slide in on BPF, keeper does well to dodge out of the way
Raph offside but Alio didn't know that as his shot from close goes out for a throw !! 33m
Klich for Rap
Harrison wins corner #6, better corner as Struijk called for foul in box trying to make the header
Stunning touch pass Kalvin, great low cross Harrison, Bamford completely misses it and deflected before it reaches Raph who tries the bicycle kick 37m
Ayling long for Raph is just a touch too strong 40m
Good reading of the game from Meslier, comes out quickly to deal with a through ball

Brilliant from Klich, good run and lovely finish curling into bottom right from the edge. Raphinha assist Burnley 0 Leeds United 1 43m

Struijk brings down Burnley player edge of box, very good chance for Burnley
Meslier comfortable holding the shot

HT - 0-1

Good half from us with maybe two worrying moments from Burnley both of our own creating. Raph looks a little rusty, Phillips and Harrison stand out for us, Kalvin probably man of the half.

2nd half

Ayling pushes Wood ...FK makes it's way through to Meslier at a crawl
Rain getting harder, windy as well
Corner Burnley after Llorente thwarts Wood, poorly cleared and Burnley get a shot away but well wide 51m
Slow start from us second half, 52m not sure we've gotten in their half much
Great save Meslier, Vydra clean through places his shot. Meslier saves 55m. Klich's coolness gets us out of defence
Raphinha couple of wayward passes when we're in good position

SUB - Bamford off for Rodrigo, fair as Paddy has been off his game again 57

Raph and Harrison combine and the cross is blocked out for a corner

Burnley 0 Leeds United 2 - Harrison, Alio shot edge of box is headed well wide and Jack's flick is very clever to redirect it into the net 59m

Bad challenge from Westwood on Raph, it's a yellow but only after Westwood reacts. Llorente stops him from getting at Raph on the ground
Apparently Dyche moaning bthat he can't field a full bench. If I were Burnley owners I'd fire him. They must have kids he could put on the bench for experience
Dallas actually had too long to pull the trigger there, shot blocked
Lovely ball Phillips out to the left for Jack, who take the ball into the box and Rodrigo shot blocked 68m
Alio tries out the Ayling flop, gets the nod from the ref

Alio winds up someone on the Burnley side, wierd meeting between Dyche and Bielsa which seems to be Dyche doing all the talking

Another good legs save from Meslier, Leeds break with good work from Raph Dallas loses possession edge of box

SUB - Roberts for the excellent Klich on 73m,

Harrison lovely weighted pass for Rodrigo and he lifts the ball beautifully over the keeper Burnley 0 Leeds United 3 76m

Rodrigo now beginning to show his quality

Harrison breaks down the left after stunning vision from Kalvin, Farrell beaten easily by Rodrigo who rounds him to score Burnley 0 Leeds United 4

Sub Poveda coming on for a tiring Raph who has been a little rusty today 80m

Tarkovski can't get the shot on target at the near post, great work from Meslier to cover that anyway
Taylor has comfortably been their best player. Shame he wouldn't be welcomed back but he'd improve us no end at LB
Roberts cool in defence 85m, Leeds break but Rodrigo just can't beat BPF to the ball
Good Alio cross gives Rodrigo a hat trick shot but BPF saves
Roberts on the run, tries for goal himself, Rodrigo not happy but I'm ok with the shot.

Final Burnley 0 Leeds United 4

Great result, we looked a lot better with Rodrigo up front than Paddy today, far more fluid.

For me Llorente shades it over Jack. His work gave us the backbone to go forward, leaving Jack the space where he is so dangerous. Without Llorentes effort Jack doesn’t get those opportunities.
Next comes Meslier, he’s growing beyond his years.
Kalvin, ring rusty at first then when he gets his lungs and legs growing controls the middle.
Dallas, grafting hard without shining, that’s a good shift right there.
Finally Rodrigo who took his chances extremely well but not on the field long enough to warrant full mom
WARNING: During game time, any post I make is not to be taken seriously, neither is it meant as offence. I'm a hot-blooded creature prone to moments of exasperation and expletive.
