Re: Southampton v Leeds Utd Match Thread

Southampton boss was aggrieved at the way the game went last time as he felt they had the measure if us.

I Not sure if I expect a Brighton or a Burnley performance.

Both sides are capable of winning well.

I have an awful feeling that it will be a Brighton performance from us, I really hope I'm wrong!

We seem to still have a bit of a hoodoo when we have to play in London/south of London, playing so poorly against Brighton, then so we’ll against Burnley seems to support this. It’s about time this hoodoo was broken and a win this evening would go some way to doing that. Come on Leeds!

Does Casilla start?.........WHAT?

Why Cooper instead of Struijk?

Meslier on the bench, so he isn't injured....

How odd.

So what is all this about?

Rotating the squad?
Clown between the sticks
Captain Cooper back
No sentiment for Pablo

I had hoped we had seen the last of Casilla.

Especially as he is paired up with his partner in comedy Cooper.

Maybe we've had a mega bucks offer for Meslier and we don't want him injured so we can flog him fully fit

Only Bielsa, keep a clean sheet and get dropped.

Bielsa throws a curved ball once again and catches everybody out.
If it works he will be hailed as a tactical genius
If it fails he will be crucified. He is sticking to First principles.
Generate emotion and entertain. How to generate some interest in a dead rubber.
Make unexpected selections that create controversy
Full of surprises. We don't call him el loco for nothing

Great optics drafting in someone banned for a racist slur in the same week the FA recieve another report about one of our players.

Also Casilla could play a blinder and it wouldnt matter he is dead wood and we all know it.
