Re: Burnley Thread
One mush I can't stand is this little thug, a typical Dyche type player
Striker Ashley Barnes was arrested on suspicion of drink driving hours after Burnley FC secured their top flight status.
The 31-year-old was pulled over at 03:00 BST on 11 May on Balmoral Way, Wilmslow, while driving a black Mercedes V Class, police said.
He has since been charged with the offence and is set to appear before magistrates in Stockport on 14 June.
Burnley FC said the matter would be treated "with the upmost seriousness".
A spokesman for the club said: "Burnley Football Club is aware of a police incident involving one of its players, Ashley Barnes.
"As a club with solid values and a strong community ethos, Burnley FC upholds and expects the highest standards of responsible behaviour from all its players and staff.
"Therefore, while observing the conclusion of legal proceedings, the club will be treating this matter with the upmost seriousness.
"The player will be subject to internal disciplinary procedures as a result."

Burnley fans really don't like us although I already knew that from several visits to Turf Moor, one or two good points.
What are Leeds getting right?

Re: Burnley Thread - Clarets fans!!!
Got to admit I’m not one of the Dyce haters, I think he does a really good job with limited funds and players of a certain type if he was called Pep Dyco the Press would be pushing for him to be the next Everton Manager
However after last season I do think they’ll be pushing hard for relegation, just hoping Woods is injured this weekend

Re: Burnley Thread - Clarets fans!!!
The answer is simple: We are a big club and they aren't!
We play Bielsaball they play Dycheball.
We don't take cup competitions seriously either yet we gat 34,000 on a wet Tuesday night v Crewe, I doubt Burnley would get half of that attendance even if they gave their tickets away free in a packet of cornflakes. (which they probably do)

One of the surprises of the day, Burnley drawing at Stamford Bridge. In fact they could have nicked a victory at the end.
