Watford linked with Eddie Neiktah, Robbie Brady & Ashley Young
Re: Watford Thread
How will the Hornets fare back in the Premier League?
I reckon along with Norwich the top two championship teams will struggle to hold onto their PL status, certainly be amongst the relegation candidates.

Re: Watford Thread
With signings like that they would be only going one way.
Straight back down.
Ageing Robbie Brady and ancient Ashley Young plus unproven Eddie Nketiah.

First signing of the official transfer window this summer
Watford, newly promoted back to the Premier League, have signed promising French-Moroccan midfielder Imran Louza from FC Nantes for an undisclosed fee.
Louza, 22, arrives at Vicarage Road on a five-year deal after scoring seven goals in 35 appearances for the French Ligue 1 side this season.
He is a France Under-21 international, but formerly represented Morocco at youth level.
French media outlets have reported the fee to be £10m.
Louza joined Nantes as an eight-year-old and has played 58 times for the club since marking his debut in January 2019.

Re: Watford Thread
Fletcher and Rose are not the height for the Premier League. Watford would be better trusting their existing squad that earned them promotion than bringing in expensive (wages wise) has beens.

Watford have signed Nigeria forward Emmanuel Dennis from Club Bruges for a undisclosed fee.
He scored 27 goals in more than 90 club appearances for Club Bruges, having joined them in 2017, and played in both the Champions League and Europa League.

Well, I didn't expect this!
Three new signings for Dean Smith's Villa
A lovely third goal for Hernández Suárez.
Brilliant strike from Villa's McGinn too!

Moussa Sissoko [Tottenham - Watford] £3m
Sissoko was involved in France's run to the final of the 2016 UEFA European Championship, making four starts in the tournament. He put in an inspired performance in the final against Portugal,
Spurs paid £30m for Sissoko, the midfielder scoring only 3 goals in 141 appearances
Oh how his career has gone downhill since 2016

Watford now on six points after their victory at Carrow Road
We must beat the Hornets on in a couple of weeks time.

Thought that would have been Norwich’s first win.
We need to keep both teams in our line of vision.

A a good result for us.
At one stage late in the games, it seemed likely that Newcastle & Burnley were heading for victories.

Re: Watford Thread
Now they've sacked their manager! I know they're a crazy club, but don't see how that was deserved! Maybe they were embarrassed to lose to us?

Re: Watford Thread
They had so little ambition yesterday. Even in the last throes of the game they looked clueless. Manager set them up for that.
