Soundgarden 'Superunknown'

Not for me, now I realised why I only played this album once. Cheap purchase so no harm done! 1/5

I enjoyed the Manassas, when I got it ... It's Steven Stills supergroup

I really like the MSPs, but The Holy Bible is my least favourite of all their albums, bar one (Journal For Plague Lovers)

I'm not a fan Cat so after your comment there's probably less hope of me enjoying this album.

Incredible I don't own POB when you consider I have 25 Beach Boys/Brian Wilson albums on my shelves, shall have to put that right with my next order, I have a few to purchase.

Dennis Wilson 'Pacific Ocean Blue'

Would appear I've missed a hidden gem somewhere down the line, need a couple of more listen prior to rating POB.

629 - American Music Club - California - Listed as Indie, and I don't mind a bit of good indie, but I would class this as singer- songwriter. Bit like poetry set to music. The lyricist has lost a lot of girls, as this is all he seems to write about. This album wasn't on Spotify, which says something in itself, and on Youtube there are never more than six comments on any track. Say no more. I didn't dislike it, but I didn't like it that much either. 2/5.

122 - Dr John 'Gris Gris' - I have this, it's Dr John and it's a great album. A couple of tracks fall short of his usual high standards, but it's a 4.5 from me.

564 - Scritti Politti 'Cupid and Psyche 85' - I only knew the two singles 'The Word Girl' and 'Absolute', which are both decent tracks. Not sure it's aged particularly well, sounds very much of its time with a lot of emphasis on synths. Saved to an extent by Green Gartside's very distinctive voice. 3/5

812 - Stereolab 'Emperor Tomato Ketchup' - knew of this band but had never listened to anything by them. To be honest, if this is what they do, then I don't think I've missed much. Opening couple of tracks are ok, but it becomes very samey and I stopped listening after about half a dozen tracks. 2/5

Strangely enough this album came out as one of my three, memories of running a HMV department in Manchester, massive album at the time!

The wonderful Dr John, smashing album possibly his best!
