It’s hard to see many positives from this game apart from Summerville and Forshaw.
Bate has shown a couple of flashes having given away a free kick in a dangerous position and a penalty.
Giving away a pen on debut is turning into something of a Leeds tradition

The only ones I see making it are Cresswell and Kenneh, maybe Greenwood and Gelhardt too.
Our defence wasn't great last night, ripped to shreds on numerous occasions apart from the two gifted goals, had Fleetwood been more clinical upfront we could have been discussing a hammering this morning.

Men against boys. Kenneh is a great prospect but we can't expect 18 year olds step in and deal with a grizzled, experienced League One side. Creswell is certainly a good player though, but they all need first team experience if we are to know if they can make the grade.

Our U23's have struggled to cope with Crawley, Hull & Fleetwood.
If our young lads are not ready they'd get torn apart in the prem.
Bielsa will know if & when it's time to pitch them in at the highest level.

There is a big difference playing a whole U23s side to slotting one young player into an established first team

Yep. No one's asking for the entire u23s to start in the PL, but no reason why the likes of Gelhardt, Greenwood, Summerville can't be given 15/20 mins from the bench to gradually ease them in.
Real Betis has lost to both Wolves and Derby on this tour. Hopefully Leeds will also defeat them. I know it’s only a friendly but an emphatic win will boost the confidience of our players.
