I had a great week with Cat and didn't go anywhere
Just looked having read your post Cjay……….yes, happy with this weeks return. I had put Pukki in, hoping a change in manager would give him a boost and Podence, at Wolves did OK as well :)

Tough to move up and down once the league has been running a few weeks, most teams will have roughly the same players by now (anyone don't have Salah?) I scored 67 this week don't think I moved much if at all ... I picked up 7 points on 6th but 6th could easily get those 7 points back next week. I moved a bit further away from 8th

It's why I prefer H2H scoring

Yeah, agree.

I think it undermines the game when you can see other players teams and formations, all you need to do is cut and paste a successful player's team. I know there's still a portion of luck involved, but if we were all plagiarists then there isn't a competition.

I used to do the one in The Telegraph many years ago and enjoyed that one. Still like playing this though.

Neither have I but most teams are going to be roughly the same ... Now if we could only have one copy of a player then that makes it interesting

Me neither MTC, and not saying anyone on here would. But some of the dudes I've worked with in the past would be clicking refresh on cut n paste every 5 minutes if they had that kind of opportunity

Never played this version before so I can't confirm but I believe this is more like what you want: https://draft.premierleague.com/

If I understand it, it's much more similar to the NFL Fantasy draft-type game.

Yes I saw they did that, it's very similar to redraft NFL fantasy on ESPN or Yahoo, another format I'm not keen on being a dynasty specialist myself... Fantrax probably do the best H2H single copy EPL fantasy.

I am experienced in running full American Football fantasy sims and an EPL one would be a lot less confusing than those.

Guys just a reminder that you've got until 11:00 GMT to make any transfers today.

Chilwell, whose been scoring points like crazy, has done his ACL, so out for 6 weeks. I've replaced him with Rudiger, and put Calum Wilson in for Antonio, as Newcastle are showing a lot of attacking intent under Howe, but their defence is still woeful, so expect they'll be bringing some players in, in January to try and avoid the drop.

No changes for me this weekend.

Is it worth using my wildcard next week mate?

It's up to you Leon 😜

You have up until December 28th at 13:00 to use your first wildcard. Then you got another one for the second half of the season.

Any changes you make with the wildcard are permanent.

I used mine a month ago, as my team was doing nowt, and it's worked a treat for me.

Depends, if you're teams scoring well and you're happy with it then no need. But if things ain't going well the wildcard gives you a clean slate.

Think about when you can use the other chips too. If you click on help it tells you what they provide.

Another poor week for me, only dropped a place as a consequence, though.

I got some decent points out of my attacking players apart from Gallagher, Hwang and Jimenez.

Changed Hwang for Dennis and still pondering about Gallagher and Jimenez, as they've gone cold lately.
