I'm also going for 6/10. would have been higher had he not been so card happy and allowing the time wasting. Can't fault for the penalty as he may not have had a clear view, and did his job when VAR told him to take a look. Also could have given a PK against Struijk too.

Didn't see any of the game, but like Tuesday, 8 cards would suggest he was a bit quick to his pocket :duno:

8 cards suggested it was scatter gun, he had no clue. I think the standard of reffing is probably the worst in the European top leagues.. Generally poor with a heavy sprinkling of bias tends to be the order of the day..

Wildly inconsistent throughout. Missed a couple of significant fouls, particularly when Raphinha got stomped.

3 - Anarchy at one stage, looked as though he was genuinely out of his depth. Missed the yellow for the foul on Raphinha (?) but then penalised Harrison for a lesser offence seconds later.

Shocking - he was totally at sea, along with his linesmen. How Roberts got booked when Norgaard checked him off the ball causing him to fall against the other Brentford player was just laughably bad.

His only redeeming call was to ignore Firpo’s crazy pull over in our box in the second half.

He was horrible.
I don't think he was biased, mostly horrible equally for both sides.
Firpo got away with a challenge that would have been a penalty by most other refs.
Roberts got flattened from behind and gets a yellow card for falling down on a Brentford player.
Raphinho gets deliberately raked down the back of his calf and only a free kick called.

I was amazed when this feeble ref was promoted from the Championship two seasons ago, and I am now even more amazed that he hasn't been demoted back.

Card happy, and is shown no respect by any of the players. His decision to book Roberts, when he was clearly knocked off balance by a Brentford player, was the worst of his decisions.

Totally lost control of the game in the second half and inconsistent with what was and what wasn't a yellow.
Equally poor for both teams I thought, definitely not biased, just incompetent.

Well, velo I drew the straw to pick this up after you left.

By all means put a minus, but I'll just count it as a 0 (IIRC faaip gave someone a -2 recently)

TBH this is tough, The James pen was borderline, the two Rudiger (is it?) pens we're even more so. Raph I thought got the ball and the second was a clear dive for me. Klich did catch him but not enough to bring him down. No coincidence Liverpool, MC and Chelsea all struggled and all got fortuitous pens to get them the points.

James' assault on James on the touchline was red all day long if the reffing stays consistent.

Bookings were disproportionate again...

2/10 I guess because he affected the game too much. A great game of football ruined by the ref
