It’s obvious referees have been told to try and let the games flow this season instead of blowing the whistle every other minute, which is good. But you need to be consistent with the challenges you allow or not and I don’t think he got it quite right today. That said he was ok so 6.5/10.

P.S I have no idea what Cooper was complaining so much about for the penalty the fowl was as plain as day!

let the game flow then started dishing out the cards in the last 20 mins. Inconsistent but no complaints whatsoever regarding their penalty. 6

Let the game flow but gave a few yellows which IMO weren’t.
Gave both sides a couple of favourable decisions = 6.5

I was pretty satisfied with his performance up until the very end when it seemed he simply wanted to get out of there.

Bamford being dragged down in the box warranted a look at the very least.

No complaints about the penalty call on Cooper.

I agree that the tackle on Bamford was a bit Cooperesque!
It's already apparent that players are not getting injured as much with the referees not calling every little touch.
I like it.
6.5 for the ref.

I would agree with this and also give him a 5 as allowed things to go, then didn't and as a player that frustrates you.

A bit of sympathy for Cooper as DCL made the move towards Cooper first and grabbed Cooper's shirt. DCL is actually holding Cooper's shirt which to me made it look like Cooper was pulling DCL more than he was. Cooper though needs to wise up to this sort of 'clever' forward play - a bit like how players like Grealish manage to find the defender's outstrecthed leg and go over rather than the defender actually bringing a player down. Cooper and Struyjk were very poor today.

On the whole I thought he had a good game let it flow and was in charge most of the time, he did loose it a bit for about 20mins when he started pulling out the yellow card every time he blew his whistle.

The Coops penalty was a pen all day long but then on the flip side the Mina holding Bambi down in the last 30 seconds should also have been given but we are Leeds and don’t get those sort of things

6.5/10

I'm going for 6.5. Would have been 7 but that Mina thing at the end warranted some attention (I know that's more to do with VAR maybe, but I have nowhere to voice my frustration at it), so being marked down a touch.
