I really hope that KP is fully fit before he's re-introduced, we can't afford to lose him for a long period.
Against Arsenal I'd probably go with:
Meslier
Drameh Cresswell Struijk McCarron
Summerville Shackleton Bate James
Gelhardt Rodrigo

We'll get battered if so.White Riot wrote: ↑Sat Oct 23, 2021 7:03 pm I really hope that KP is fully fit before he's re-introduced, we can't afford to lose him for a long period.

At least he hit the ball with power & on target, no fannying about taking one touch too many, their keeper had to make an instinctive save.
I'll take bets on Joffy won't start vs Norwich
It was a rollercoaster Swannie, I did think it was going to be one of those days when nothing went right for us.
Raphinha & Phillips back for Norwich next Sunday mateWhite Riot wrote: ↑Sat Oct 23, 2021 4:18 pm That performance and result could be the difference between us going down and staying up.
I missed the last 20 minutes.
Gotta say well done to all the lads for keeping going and eventually getting a result.
Hope, Raphinha is ok otherwise we're gonna massively struggle for creativity.
Goal will do Rodders confidence a bit of good.
We desperately need KP, Paddy and Raphinha fit and playing to get us away from the bottom.
I'm delighted for Gelhardt, he's a real talent.
I really hope MB will start Bate and Gelhardt in the EFL Cup to show what they're capable of.
We're already aware of the lack of creativity from the first eleven.
We need to beat Norwich next week and that result should give us a shot in the arm.
Let's hope we have a good display at Arsenal too.
Wasn't an lot to rave about mate.White Riot wrote: ↑Sat Oct 23, 2021 6:15 pm It was scary how invisible James was today, I expected better tbh
Three of the lads on our coach today went to our U23's game v Brighton at York last night.
Dan & Jack were inept today.White Riot wrote: ↑Sat Oct 23, 2021 6:24 pm Agree with all that MC
Also Harrison culpable for their goal.
Harrison and James were non-existent, which is scary when you think that's two of our three senior wingers and the star one just got injured. Step forward Summerville, McGurk and Mckinstry.
Hopefully MB now sees that these young kids can be trusted and plays them more often.
Bate, Gelhardt and Summerville should start at Arsenal.
Hope you're right 64.1964white wrote: Raphinha & Phillips back for Norwich next Sunday mate

Dallas's performance seems to have gone unnoticed on here, looking at the MOTM votes.Boo Radley wrote: ↑Sat Oct 23, 2021 6:35 pm Well, that was interesting! Typical of us to get caught on their first attack when we had controlled the game from the off.
Harrison, Klich and Dallas were all shocking in the first half and James didn’t get a pass in his central role.
Dallas was a new man in the second half and became a leader for the team Gelhardt and Summerville terrified that Wolves defence and really energised the crowd.
To come from one down against such a mean, cheating, time wasting team without Philips or Raphinha was something I simply couldn’t see coming. The fact we did is a season changer for me. Maybe our luck has just changed a fraction.
The support was outstanding today and helped to rattle Wolves and that gobshite of a referee - which mattered in the end.
Great day out for us - saved by Mr. Gelhardt .
good report, just the way i saw the game. happy for you.1964white wrote: It was a rollercoaster Swannie, I did think it was going to be one of those days when nothing went right for us.
We started well, then out-of-the-blue Wolves scored with the first effort on target. I can't recall Wolves troubling Meslier after their fortunate goal.
Raphinha's touch & silky skills were amazing until he was crocked with an awful late tackle, a red card offence in any other game
Wolves reminded me of Villa four years ago when Bielsa gave them a walk-in goal. Just like their midlanders counterparts, they constantly fell to the ground at will & feigned injury wasting time in order to disrupt our play.
I've lost all respect for Jiminez, diving cheat!
Dallas back to his best particularly in the 2nd half.
Striujk's best game as a DM
Rodrigo much better today,
We are much steadier at the back, with Llorente steadying the ship.
Summerville did well, especially as he had to replace our Brazilian star
There was a massive cheer when Joe came on & he soon made his presence felt & fully deserves the accolade of MOTM, brilliant from the young lad. Our best prospect since Harry Kewell.
ER erupted in a wall of noise when Rodrigo superbly netted from the penalty spot. Our fans went barmy
Tbh our fans were brilliant throughout the game, pretty sure our sublime support (the best in the prem) encouraged our players to raise their game as they drove on for the equaliser.
Yes it did feel like a victory at the end Swannie
Yeeeeeeeees bb
