One of each to start with

Plus - Firpo from junk to quality. Firpo/James could be scary good going forward

Minus - Despite time wasting in the second half Vierra thought they were the better side. Why waste time if you think your on top?

+ vital win
- Roberts had to drop very deep to be involved because the service to him wasn’t good.
NB I’m not saying he should be first choice.

He's a midfielder, pure and simple. He was very good when he dropped deeper. Also a lot of his runs went ignored. Good game from Tyler.

+ve - Lots of effort from everyone this evening after the criticism rightly leveraged at the team after the Brighton debacle.
-ve - Still lacking composure in the final third, which needs to be fixed to get anything out of the December fixtures.

Positive - hugely important 3 points - great team effort and super atmosphere.

Negative - we huffed and puffed but I don’t think we stretched their keeper once. Totally toothless up front.

Pros - Picking up points and we are still capable of playing much better. Can the teams around say the same thing? We drew with Brighton without playing particularly well and beat Palace. We were the better team against a well established Premier League side in Palace without being at our best.

Cons - Not creating clear cut chances. looking like scoring.

+ Bielsa and Orta must now know that we need a genuine 9 or 10 in January after so many terrible showings in the final third.

- Roberts chosen over Joffy to lead the line. FFS

Pro: Life, energy, and attitude I haven't seen in the team for a while. loved it. The fans were electric.

Con: Lack of a goal scorer.

+ Suddenly in the second half went up several gears, pressed hard, got men forward and looked like the team from last season.
- Still not enough quality balls in the final third, and no top class striker to convert the chances. JG must be given more game time.

+ The stuttering jerky penalty kick was a metaphor for our season. What looked like a spluttering mistake came good in the end.

- The continual bleating to give Joffy a chance and the constant denigration of Firpo, Roberts and James

+. The performance was much better
-. Need to keep clean sheets to have any chance of getting a point due to having just 1 player on the pitch who knows where the net is. Joe is wasting away not even getting time in the 23's...sheer madness !

Positive: 3 points and a clean sheet.
Negative: We need another 3 points at the weekend, before the fixtures turn nasty.
