Eddie was given limited opportunity in his loan spell with us. However, when he did get minutes I thought he did pretty well so would be happy enough if we went for him.

If the issue at Arsenal stopping him signing a new deal is lack of playing time/opportunity though, would he get any greater certainty if he signed for us ?….MB isn’t going to put him in ahead of Bamford and we’ve now got Joe coming through as well.

Be an upgrade on Paddy so it's a yes from me ... Quicker, better first touch and two footed, having already played under Marcelo he'd know what to expect and would give us pace to burn off the wings and through the middle...

No thanks!

Scored the odd goal but didn’t particularly shine for us when on loan and struggled at the pressing game, essential to Bielsa’s system. Can’t imagine he’s any better now and I wouldn’t want another obstacle for young Joffey either, who I believe is just as good now and potentially better anyway

No.

Bielsa doesn't rate him much (no matter how nice he was in public).

He didn't fit the system and just was a no.

To reiterate my belief that not only did Bielsa not rate him but he wasn't Bielsa's pick (I maintain to this day Bielsa wanted Kent and Orta wanted Nketiah, loves an ego signing Victor).

He was Kemar Roofe's replacement, a man Bielsa used on the wing, as a striker and as a midfielder.

Not once did Bielsa use Nketiah as a winger or a midfielder, he didnt even try.

He used Roofe there, he has used Roberts there, he has used Rodrigo there.

Never tried Eddie at all.

Given how much Bielsa values versatility is it likely that he wanted a specialist number 9 to replace a player he has used in 3 different roles? Nope.
