Listening to the local radio.
People are phoning in and nearly all are saying the same thing...that a crush happened at the away end when 4 turnstiles stopped working
They were trapped for 30 minutes before someone had the sense to open a gate 15-20 Minutes after the kick off.
Stewards and West Yorkshire police didn't seem to have a plan B.
and have received hundreds of complaints.
It's not want anyone wants to hear in 2022.

Not great, hopefully Leeds and WYP will respond better than Chelsea and The Met though.

Sounds like they are which is encouraging.

At least eight people have been killed and dozens more injured in a crush outside an Africa Cup of Nations football match in Cameroon.

As if to highlight how serious these incidents can become. Football fans have a right to be able to go to a game safely. It's important the authorities look into the issues to prevent this happening again in the future.

My point is as showed last night with the Cameroon stampede.
These things can turn into very serious in minutes.

It was the total lack of awareness by the police and stewards .

One lad who was at the match phoned in and said he
Was pinned against a wall with his 9yo son
Who was very frightened.
He asked a copper for help the copper said...what do you expect me to do.
