Behind closed doors
Just been told Leeds beat Stoke today behind closed doors.
Bamford scoring the winner.

Re: Behind closed doors
A consistently healthy Patrick Bamford make LUFC a much better side. That probably goes without saying. But if he gets healthy and on a run of form it's a game changer...

I think it is safe to say that KP and Raphinha were dragging us down.

From StokeonTrentlive
Preparations picking up
Stoke have returned to Clayton Wood to start pre-season training this week and will have a behind closed doors friendly against a Premier League team at the training ground on July 2.
O’Neill takes his squad to Ireland for a week-long training camp the following Monday, capped with a friendly at Cork City on Saturday, July 9 (5pm). There are other friendlies in the diary at Bristol Rovers and Accrington Stanley and a couple more are expected to be announced soon.
We must have been the 'Premier League team'
Re: Behind closed doors
That's only true in a Bert team Paul.BlackHillsPaul wrote: ↑Sat Jul 02, 2022 8:00 pm A consistently healthy Patrick Bamford make LUFC a much better side. That probably goes without saying. But if he gets healthy and on a run of form it's a game changer...
PB is not that good, you seen much of him pre Bert days ?
PB had a chance to play for England, 100% those days are gone now, like a few others, all downhill from here with no Bert guidance.
Will be actually v interesting to see what big Jesse does with him.

Re: Behind closed doors
I hope we don't make the same mistake of relying on Bamford as our sole striker. We definitely have to bring another one in, otherwise we'll be fucked again.BlackHillsPaul wrote: ↑Sat Jul 02, 2022 8:00 pm A consistently healthy Patrick Bamford make LUFC a much better side. Too true, can't rely on putting a kid on to keep rescuing us either.
