Forward players generally burst on to the scene earlier especially those who's main attribute is pace as you lose pace the older you get, and the more knocks and injuries you take. Defensive players usually tend to take longer as it is more about their reading of the game, bulking up a bit so they can handle the physical side of things etc.

I saw Gnonto as more advanced than Rutter as it was clear he had a footballing brain to match his speed and talent. Rutter looks to have speed and talent but not really sure it has all fully clicked with him yet. No idea on this lad yet as haven't seen him play apart from the youtube clips which really don't paint a full picture - a such he might be a masterpiece already or just an exposed breast made out of dung.
