Re: Tyler Adams wins MOT's Man of the Match Polls
Tyler takes with the MOTM honours, having an substancial by the time he incurred his serious injury.
Koch chased TA into a runner-up spot, but was never going to catch him.
At one stage, I thought Gnonto was going to make a challenge, unfortunately he was rarely used by the replacement managers,
How Aaronson made the top five just goes to show how poor our team performed.
I'd like to take this opportunity to thank everyone who voted in these polls

Not much doubt. And to be fair it's noticeable how different our PPG was with him and without him.1964white wrote: โSat Jun 03, 2023 5:59 pm Tyler ran away with the MOTM honours up to his serious injury.

On a side note have you been following TSB's player ratings? Dan James is in the lead because he only played for us at the start of the season - a time when we were playing well. They haven't decided if they're going to put any parameters in place or if they're just going to give it to Dan James.

Ridiculous that he still wins despite being absent all this time, just shows how valuable he was in the early part of the season.
Thanks for running it all 64

Surprised Rodrigo ended up so far down.
Adams, Rodrigo and Wober the ony ones who have emerged from this season with any real credit.

Only won 1 MOTM as well.YorkshireSquare wrote: โSat Jun 03, 2023 8:20 pm Surprised Rodrigo ended up so far down.

Think it reflects his really anonymous performances if he doesn't score.
He played in 31 league games, scored or assisted in 11.
So he will likely have only made top 6 in 11 at best.
He's had a good scoring season but often a passenger when not scoring
Harrison was similar the other season and he was well down on the list despite the decent stats.

I'll be posting up the final 'player ratings' results later this week.Barlow Boy wrote: โSat Jun 03, 2023 7:32 pm Ridiculous that he still wins despite being absent all this time, just shows how valuable he was in the early part of the season.

Incredibly, Adams only won one match with the highest combined scores, however Tyler came 2nd x 4 times & 3rd x 9 times, so he was in the top 3 of the player ratings 14 times, because he consistently was a 7/10 or 8/10 player, whereas Harrison, Rodrigo, Meslier, etc ratings could fluctuate between 2/10 to 9/10.
Our most consistent players were Adams, Wober & Koch, the rest were up & down like yo yo's.
Re: Tyler Adams wins MOT's Man of the Match Polls
Correct CJay, both Rodrigo & Harrison are inconsistent or anonymous on far too many occasions.Cjay wrote: โSat Jun 03, 2023 8:30 pm Only won 1 MOTM as well.

To be fair to Rodrigo, without his goals we'd have been relegated long before our final two games, unlucky to lose him & Sinisterra to injuries as they were our top scorers
Re: Tyler Adams wins MOT's Man of the Match Polls
Even though we conceded 86 goals in our 44 Premier League/Cup games, 22 of our defensive players won a MOTM poll, top individual defensive performances, but we were clueless defending collectively.
Re: Tyler Adams wins MOT's Man of the Match Polls
Nice to receive a thank you
Re: Tyler Adams wins MOT's Man of the Match Polls
Its not saying much but i thought he was a best player over the season. I gave him an 8 more than any other player on the Ratings aswell. Cheers 64.
