Just need to correct your mistake
You have Roca as a stay
You have Roca as a stay
Re: Chances of staying at LUFC for the new season
Only 1 or 2 may be successful at a premier league club.
The rest that move on will need to move to a European club at a lower level
If they themselves accept this and money apart why not give a season in the championship a go

Re: Chances of staying at LUFC for the new season
i expect a mass clear out anything between ten to fifteen players , the ones who the club will make a profit on will go or want premier league football if they are good enough , and a lot of dross or players that need to be moved on to pastures new, need to be moved on . whether that happens remains to be seen , but if we start next season with the likes of ayling , cooper , forshaw , bamford in the team we are in big trouble . hopefully some of the kids with actual talent and ability will be given a chance .

Re: Chances of staying at LUFC for the new season
Adams (50) - Could stay. American owners might want to make him the poster boy. He'll want to see an inspirational manager appointment and promises of a first season promotion
Roca (100) - Gone. On the periphery of Spain squad
Koch (100) - Gone. Wants Germany place back
Summerville (70) - Most likely gone. Trying to get in Holland squad
Gnonto (60) - Might be able to keep him since he managed to keep his Italy spot from the Swizz league
Sinisterra (30) - Think he'll stay, his injuries work in our favour
Harrison (80) - I think we could keep him. American owners might try. But seems likely we'll cash in. And he might be hoping for an England call up
Meslier (100) - Gone. Wants to make France squad
Drameh (50) - Hope he stays. But the club need to make him promises. He's a top class championship RB. Could make it in the PL. But we should be keeping him and starting him.
Rodrigo (90) - Thought we might keep him. But he's still making the Spain squad. Gone
Aaronson (70) - Same as Adams. Wouldn't worry about losing him. But he could be a real livewire in the champiosnhip.
OTHERS
Rasmus (50) - Would make a decent championship CB. But I'd let him go.
Wober (25) - Think he'll stay
Firpo (50) - Would keep him. He's not been great but he's good enough for the championship. But talk seems to be that he'll leave.
Forhsaw (25) - would let him leave in favour of Gray, Gyabi, and Bate. But if we lose every other senior midfielder, might be nice to have him around
Dan James (25) - Think we'll keep him and he'll tear up the championship
Llorente and Costa (100) either sold or loaned out again
Everyone else I didn't mention stays
Roca (100) - Gone. On the periphery of Spain squad

Re: Chances of staying at LUFC for the new season
I expect a clear out too. Mostly because the squad is too big for the championship. Plus we had about a dozen players out on loan. Plus we have about 6 or 7 youngsters (U21s and loanees) expected to be first be first team level.geronimo wrote: ↑Wed Jun 07, 2023 5:22 pm i expect a mass clear out anything between ten to fifteen players , the ones who the club will make a profit on will go or want premier league football if they are good enough , and a lot of dross or players that need to be moved on to pastures new, need to be moved on . whether that happens remains to be seen , but if we start next season with the likes of ayling , cooper , forshaw , bamford in the team we are in big trouble . hopefully some of the kids with actual talent and ability will be given a chance .
So. I wouldn't be surprised to see about 15 leave. And only to sign 3 or 4 new players

Re: Chances of staying at LUFC for the new season
I can see a massive turn over of players this summer, some will want to go as they'll feel they are better than the Championship, apart from Adams, Gnonto, Jackie, maybe Rodrigo I can't see many moving to Prem teams. Others we just need to get rid of because they aren't good enough Firpo, Rasmus, Roca etc... and a few will just feel its time to move on.
But on the upside this could well open the door for sone of the U23s and I see a few of them breaking into the first team.

Re: Chances of staying at LUFC for the new season
I'd really like to see the likes of Drameh, Cresswell, Gelhardt, Gyabi, Gray, Perkins, Joseph all being part of the 1st team squad. Not saying they should be our starting line up. But they should be part of the squad.Ratscoot wrote: ↑Wed Jun 07, 2023 7:40 pm I can see a massive turn over of players this summer, some will want to go as they'll feel they are better than the Championship, apart from Adams, Gnonto, Jackie, maybe Rodrigo I can't see many moving to Prem teams. Re: Chances of staying at LUFC for the new season
I think we will try to keep a large percentage of the ones we want to keep. 49ers will throw a lot at it to get promoted and make their investment work:
Adams 50%
Roca 50%
Koch 50%
Summerville 10%
Gnonto 20%
Sinisterra 10%
Harrison 75% … cash in
Meslier 100%
Drameh 25% … with assurances
Rodrigo 50%
Aaronson 25%
We will sell Harrison, Meslier and 2 of the above that are at 50%.
Adams 50%
Roca 50%
Koch 50%
Summerville 10%
Gnonto 20%
Sinisterra 10%
Harrison 75% … cash in
Meslier 100%
Drameh 25% … with assurances
Rodrigo 50%
Aaronson 25%
We will sell Harrison, Meslier and 2 of the above that are at 50%.
