Ticket Advice

Post by Pilkie »

Right guys, first time on here so be kind.
Story is,
My mate has been a Leeds fan all his days, despite living in North of Scotland. Regular visitor from late 70's. However due to life circumstances not made it down for few years now. Anyways, for his 60th birthday, his kids got him a brick but again due to his circumstances, has never seen it.
However we are on our way down now for a long weekend, so he can see his brick. I am even gonna miss my teams game on Sunday, the sacrifices you make

Now I realise tickets for the games are like hens teeth and I was gonna take him to hospitality but his kids are bringing him down next year for hospitality for his 65th.

So to end this long long story, what are our chances of getting a couple of tickets outside the ground tomorrow and best place to try?
Plus if no chance is there a boozer that will show the game on Leeds TV?

Right ano, cool story bro.
But any help would be greatly appreciated.
Cheers

Cheers for the reply. Sure we will, off to a good start with some undercover alcoholic beverages.
You are not allowed to drink alcohol on trains up here, cause we have a totally insane Scottish Government!
Thanks again.

Not having been for years..... I would assume that the Peacock would have a radio broadcast of the match, and a damned good atmosphere during the match if you can't see it...

If however this is one of the occasions when I am wrong.... Someone will leap up and tell me so.......
DILLIGAF??

Club Sports & Events are still offering a package for tomorrow in the Centenary Pavilion. £129 each. Don’t think your mate would argue with hospitality twice. Go on, spoil him.

Don't you need a match ticket to get in The Peacock when there's a match on :duno: ...... Sure you did last time I was in there, albeit that was a couple of years ago now.

Demand as always exceeded supply for many years, talk of redevelopment and increasing the capacity of the ground as gone on since the ridsdale era but never happened, due to the fact the team as been in the doldrums for the last twenty odd years
Talk is one thing achieving it is another thing entirely while the team is in the state it is in , both the kop and west stand need another tier put on them to match the east stand and a 55 /60 thousand seater stadium would be achievable similar to Everton as many say on here 😆

You can't get in the peacock without showing a match day ticket now, I know, it's a pub, that's why I refuse to go in it when it's not a match day.

So don't head there, you'll be disappointed

Only times I’ve been in I’ve been going to the match but surely you can get in during the game when everybody clears out ?

As other have said, highly unlikely you will get tickets this late in the day.

That said, assuming you are members, just keep an eye on the official website. Some season ticket holders give their tickets up on the day of the game (I know as, like my mates I’m a season ticket holder, and they’ve done it a a couple of times due to illness).

Also, I see you’re on Twitter, again some tickets pop up on there from time to time.

Either way, good luck and enjoy the day.
