Finally a thread that gets to the real nitty gritty of what is important. I hate button flys. They are such a fath to undo and then do up. Zips are so much better, quicker and easier.

Personally though everybody has the fundamental right to choose which they prefer and although I would put button users against the wall and shoot the lot of them I don't have a strong opinion on it.

Agreed, the Mrs is forever telling me off for not doing up ALL the buttons (or shlitz as she calls them)

Went through that silly silly fad of buttons, I ended up walking round with my c**k out half the time, zips all the way, although any man will tell you, it's a proper grimmace when you get your pubes caught in a zip never mind your c**k.

If I had a button fly in Korea many years ago when I was a squaddie I would not have caught my Foreskin in the Zip whilst absolutely shedded. Having said that I would have struggled to undo the buttons and would most likely have pished myself.

On the balance of how that night turned out I would have been happy to have pished myself, it is not as if it would have been a one off.

Buttons by a country mile.... wait are we talking jeans/chinos here. If so yes, buttons, if not, still buttons. I've never thrown away an article of clothing if button comes off but too many clothes have hit the bin when the zip breaks, and they break easily

Koumpounophobia - I have a form of this but it’s mainly loose buttons ie in an old tin or in a shop on card or plastic tube, they make my queasy.
It’s a childhood thing 😁

Ps, I prefer button fly jeans and shirts with buttons as long as they don’t stand out too much 🤣

Absolute nonsense. Casks have bungholes. Therefore they use plugs.

I wouldn’t put a bow on your c**k. Could get unwanted attention.
