For me, it's like having two new signings, both internationals, too.
The only argument here is whether Aaronson can compensate in any part for the loss of Summerville. Of course we have two fantastic wingers in James and Gnonto. So the Summerville loss is not huge. Hopefully Aaronson can produce as a 3rd option.

But Wober is a great replacement for Cooper

Have you watched our pre-season games?
You know I only watched the Valencia game as it was the only vaguely competitive one we played.

A game we played well in but not one that answers the thing Farke struggled with most last season, how will he cope when teams actively shut us down and he can't rely on Summerville.

Until we see how that pans out I reserve judgement, hopeful, but not without 3,4 new signings would I be fairly confident

Nothing can be gained from the other 3 bar hopefully some confidence for the players.

You yourself said we required "4 of 5 new signings" but most only wanted 2 or 3 in January so how can you keep claiming the squad is better?

I realise new season optimism etc but it's contradictory.

Well here we go again and for what it's worth I'm convinced that promotion will be achieved this season.

Will be at the match but also recording it on skysports+ (new channel) to watch again later.

I think we will score more goals than we did last year. And I also think that production will be spread out a bit more than last season where we seemed so dependent on Summerville. The reality is we were 4th in goals scored behind the 3 teams that were promoted. We scored 81 goals in 46 matches for an average of 1.76 goals per match. We can and will do better.

As for Aaronson scoring goals. I don't see more than around 6 or 6 goals from him this season. And that's assuming he gets a fairly significant amount of time on the pitch. But I can definitely see him with double digit assists in this league. And I think that would be enough to call it a successful year for him. But it depends on how many minutes he actually gets. And I'm not convinced he will be a starter.

Farke was asked about replacing Summerville's goals. He mentioned James getting into double figures last season and Gnonto is always a goal threat.

Rutter should chip in more goals this season. And we should get a something more from midfield. Bogle more of a threat than Gray. Hopefully we get a consistent striker this season too. That really would make the difference.

I think we will score more goals than last year too. I also tink the main reason we are stronger or better equipped is that the majority of our players are now proven at this level. Last season we had a lot of players that there were questions about even the likes of Ampadu despite the amount of games he had played. We don't have those questions this season as the only players that aren't experienced championship players are Aaronsen and Wober and it appears that both of them will be squad options initially.

If Aaronsen comes into the team I can see him being the player before the player who gets the assist. Aaronsen making a run, opening up a defence but then laying it off to Rutter or a winger to play the ball in.
Can any of you ba****d c*nts sell me a sh*t castle in need of f*cking renovation? I have turrets.

I still think we need four signings, unconvinced we'll get four, I'm also a bit apprehensive we could lose another main player. Nerve-wracking times for all our fans, I just wish we could wave a magic wand & all our transfer business was done!

Worried about our midfield, still think we need a CM and a winger.

Wober the cover for LB and CB but if he goes we need another through the door.

Like me, you watch our matches twice, Jammy.

I can analyse our performance with a cool head second time around. I'm too anxious watching Leeds live.

I'm hopeful that Aaronson will hit double figures for goals this season and also think he'll force is way into the starting eleven and then stay there.

Watching the game again is something I've always done and the Wembley loss was more bearable once viewed again. Those fans leaving the stadium feeling we hadn't turned up were wrong as we were a crossbar away from forcing ET and potentially going up.

On pre-season evidence, I'm expecting 12 to 15 goals from Georginio.

Goals & assists from Bogle, and Rothwell has to be a bigger goal threat than Kamara.

Dan, Willy & Aaronson will chip in with several goals.

Gruev was more adventurous in pre-season, also we've been working on set-pieces so expect a few from Pascal & Joe.

And then there is our young No.9 who could be anything, 20 goals would be excellent.

If Jonny signs, another ten goals plus on the cards.

McCarthy also made a decent save from Dan's other shot.

I believe whoever wants to purchase your ticket, you have to sign them up on your LUFC friends & family profile, then e.mail your ticket to that person. I'm not entirely sure though!

Alternatively, you could sell your ticket back to Leeds Uinted.
