I am not too worried about individual games this season and looking at the bigger picture. The teams i have witness so far have been poor and i can't see any squad capable of running away with it like LC and Ipswich were last season for the most part. We just have to stay in and around the top 4 into next year then make our move. I feel the club won't mess around in Jan if we are short in any area.

Gutted for Gruev along with Amps. They are a massive loss, especially to lose both so close together. Thank the Lord for Tanaka that boy is quality and will steady the ship in Midfield, as for Rothwell we will now find out what he's about with what should be a solid run in the side.

We are back to that age old feeling at Leeds that we are one more injury at CB & Mid from disaster. In saying all that if Tanaka and Rothwell turn up tonight i think we can beat Sunderland. In the games i have seen we should have won everyone and tonight i expect the same.

We still have an excellent first 11 so no need to panic regarding tonight. However against Sheff Utd after the international break we might need to use at least one of our untried youngsters from the start.

That's why I'd like to see some game time from the bench this evening for Charlie Crew and/or others.

Makes it even more ludicrous that we have to play on the Friday after the international break. Players like Aaronson, Tanaka and Firpo probably not going be able to get back in time

I don't have a crystal ball but I felt selling Glen Kamara was not necessary despite the fact the club made a small profit. Now he would have provided adequate cover and his experience is invaluable.

We'd have been carrying 5 central midfielders. That's not really feasible.

I think we should have signed one more center back. That would have offered a couple more options. As would have a 10 (which we tried)

I always enjoy giving young players the chance. Our U21's are not as strong as they were a couple of years ago. I do like the look of Crew. But I honestly think he's a year away from contributing to Leeds

Don't think we could have done much more with the first team squad this season. But the 21's should have a couple more players pushing the first team

Something that Sky when making their live selections would be fully aware of.

Which is why the EFL should make it a rule that no Friday night matches after international breaks to protect the integrity of their competitions.
