Asking for a friend.

Aaronson... what did he do to make your list Joe?

Thought our MF players were largely similar. With Gnonto ahead of everyone. But I saw Aaronson giving a bit more effort in the press and winning back the ball better than the others. I concede that late miss of his probably should have caused me to move him further down (probably before or after Piroe). But otherwise a solid outing from him.

Struijk and Tanaka are the other two shouts/honorable mentions for me.

I thought he was ok - some loose balls in good situations. Not his best game - and he had a chance to bury them if he had shown better awareness and composure. He would be on the fringes of my 6 / but not given the placing any thought beyond Gnonto’s masterclass. What a player that lad is becoming.

I think he is regressing myself same as first season here.

It's getting to the point where he works hard and that is it.

His pass selection is poor, he's bullied off the ball a lot and his creativity is pretty non existent and goal threat minimal.

As a box to box midfielder it's passable but as a 10 in the role normally reserved for X factor players he is found lacking massively for me.

Piroe has shown that patience is the key... This guy has been a sub for a few games, comes on, scores....
get his chance and starts and makes a class finish to level the game. What more can you do for your manager...
