P. I don’t have to hear Stoik mentioned again

N. Didn’t work their keeper once, every attempt on target was straight to him .

+ I've dug into my reserves and I hate Millwall even more now.

- These kind of games are so predictable against battling spoilers. Plus the ref fell for their dark arts every time

Pos : It's an average league including us so we have a chance.

Neg : Got to inject something into our totally ineffective attack,

Positive: All I can say is I hope Farke learned from this, but all the evidence suggests otherwise
Negative: Carbon copy of plenty of poor results last season where we offered nothing - Stoke, West Brom, Blackburn, Sunderland etc

Positives.....

We dominated the ball and created chances against an in form park the bus hoofball (but well drilled) Millwall side.

Millwall were limited to very low quality chances even late on when pushing.

Aarronsson looks to be getting better and better, combative and wasn't outmuscled by a very physical Millwall.

--------

Negatives......

1. Is Gnonto really that good as a championship level first team winger? It seems like I've been saying it for years but he has high potential without a doubt.... But when do we see that potential develop into meaningful tangible numbers?

In terms of stats forward passing, crossing is below the average for even mid table sides. He looks to be easily pushed off the ball, runs into dead ends and for me doesn't have that killer instinct that a player of his supposed calibre has. You also have to remember he plays in one of the best sides in the championship that affords him more time on the ball and space than other wingers get in most champ teams.

So greedy tonight and that five yard out header.... Well, missed opportunities like that are the difference between playoffs and automatics.

2. I'm not one to usually criticise Farke, think he did brilliant last year. However..... I'm really at a loss as to why we fell into the same trap as Burnley. Carbon copy.

Surely they must have watched the replays of the Burnley game? Millwall = Sit back let the opposition have the ball, crowd out the final third and hopefully get something from a free kick. It isn't the first time teams have done this and why for the past 10 years have we been shite at defending and attacking set pieces? Is it just me or does anyone else panic when we concede a corner? They switch off far too often.

3. Sluggish/innacurate in the build up.....
For a team with pace on the wings why don't we try a hoofball into the grey areas once in a while instead of trying to walk it in the net? Over hit dainty passes that were picked up by defenders easily

All in all we aren't in bad shape, but I've not seen enough this year so far to say we'll get the consistency to achieve 90 points this year. Few cogs missing in the machine.

Pos - we dominated the game but didn’t score

Neg - we dominated the game, couldn’t score, never looked like scoring and could have played another 3 hours and not scored

P: None
N: This is a poor league. DF and the board just do not learn. We did not get promoted last season and so after collecting £100 Million in play sales we needed a Proven number 9 goal scorer for this season and they did not get one.

P - No new injuries is the best I can do.
N - Didn’t look like scoring, we knew how they were going to play & hadn’t a clue how to beat their tactics. Lost almost every header in our box……………..

+ We battered them. Like we do all the teams.

- The second half was dull as dishwater. We couldn't score in a brothel.
