Meslier - 5 (another routine save not saved. There has to be a “highlight reel” of these with how much playing time he’s had throughout the years)
Byram - 6.5 (solid, if unspectacular)
Bogle - 5 (Not his best day…TBF, not really the matchup to start him so is that really his fault?)
Tanaka - 7 (quieter match from him. See Byram comment)
Rodon - 7.5 (thought he was our best player outside of James)
Struijk - 6 (not his best game for us. Some wayward passes)
James - 7.5 (just edged Rodon for MOTM. Was our most progressive player)
Rothwell - 6 (pretty subdued performance vs. his usual high standards)
Piroe - 5 (a part of me wonders if these physical away matches don’t suit him as they leave him in strange predicaments with our attackers behind him being more subdued/cautious, and therefore throwing his game off…does he drop deep to progress the build up therefore sacrificing a target in the box, or does he stay in the box therefore sacrificing some help in the build-up? Just wondering if the tactics are partially to blame for him struggling code consistency…hope I’m making sense there)
Aaronson - 5.5 (if only he got that shot on goal, he’d be at a 7. A score and it’d been a 7.5-8. Lots of hustle and work rate, an indecisive pass or 2, and then the miss. A 5.5 is about right).
Gnonto - 5 (Aaronson without the work rate or the poor miss. Another strange/poor selection by Farke given the matchup not suiting Gnonto at all. Similar to Bogle, is that his fault or the manager’s?)

Bamford - 4.5 (Leicester repeat…what a downer. I’d trade last year’s wondergoal highlight for him converting 3-4 of the sitters he’s missed throughout the years)
Ramazani - 6 (not much time to impact the game)
Joseph - 6 (see Piroe, I’m convinced that physical away games should have Joseph in the 9 as his hustle and work rate are more valuable than Piroe’s polish at the start of these matches. Nice work rate to get the OG awarded)
Solomon - 6 (classy on the ball, just not much time to affect the game)
Ampadu - 6 (not much time to impact game)
