P. Solomon is a classy player. Schmidt showed he is good enough for LB or RB cover.

N. Harrogate caused more uncomfortable moments than many teams have so that’s a plus for them.

+ A win but made hard work of it. If we dont break down teams early that put all 11 men behind the ball we seem to struggle. But its the cup and all that matters is that we are in the draw for the next round.

- Very casual too often, and that allowed them to get set up and get bodies in place.

P win,Darlow ,Grueve,Solomon
N Joseph schmidt team selection does farke no realise that promotion is the priority no promotion no job Farke .Joseph is just not up to the job of leading the line Imo I think Joseph is nowhere near confident enough couldn't score a goal if 6 yrds out with nobody near him .

That's why Farke gives them the game in this which is in reality not much more than a glorified friendly. A chance for them to impress and if they don't it confirms what Farke already thought about them. Joseph was unlucky with the one that hit the post but apart from that was very poor - not writing him off as if he scores a goal then suddenly everything can click back into place. Schmidt I felt did nothing to suggest he is better than any of our other fullbacks and probably not even better than Ampadu at full back. Guilivogi was poor but to be honest he had looked a bit ponderous and deliberate in his sub appearances. The good thing is that he is 5th choice midfielder and likely the same at centreback.

P: Darlow & Schmidt
N: We need to move the ball a lot quicker against teams who park the bus.

Positive: Solomon touch of quality to win a drab game
Negative: Joseph blew his big chance to impress, the lad needs a break from the first team for a couple of games to rebuild his confidence

Pos - Didn't get embarrassed by a Div 2 team but only just.
Neg - Confirmation we'll get hammered most weeks if we get promoted

We're so boring to watch these days.

In the brief spell that I watched, I was amazed that we started Solomon, ampadu etc given how important the league is. But same old problems, slow ball movement, allowing them to get.10 men behind the ball etc

Joseph also isn't good enough at the moment to be supporting piroe. We need someone pushing him. We overhype young players here far too much - we did the same with gelhardt

Positives: Darlow can catch a ball and looked steady at corners if a bit rusty. Solomon has class.... Ramazani has that know how to gamble where the ball will be.

Negatives... Beyond Rodon we have no rcb to fill in at champ level. Ponderous build up..... Predictable out to the wings and hope something happens. An injury to Piroe and automatics is in dire straights, Joseph wouldn't get in most champ 11's... Player in the making but not at champ standard yet..... Gnonto flatters to deceive not a 10 fill in for Aaronson who isn't a 10 himself.

Signings needed or doubt we'll keep the pace with injuries that will undoubtedly happen.

P Joseph quick feet and good close control, hit the post nearly a goal, fast break going forward, makes the pass to James who nearly scores, perhaps should have passed to one of the two players on the left. Boy's got talent.

N Darlow had a good game, made one good save from a rocket shot , and at other times caught the ball. very disappointing from the Welsh international keeper. He was too good looking compared to Illan, that should not be allowed... football isn't a beauty contest you know.

+ Thought Schmidt and Darlow did alright. Cover looks okay for keeper, defence, midfield and wings.

- Glaringly obvious we have no cover in the no.9 and 10 slots.

Positive - Well we are in the next round and we have a goalkeeper that caught the ball from a corner...never seen this before :)
Darlow played well...

Negative - Joseph against a league 2 side, he is just not ready as a starting Leeds striker......

P. Soloman head & shoulders above the rest.

N. Bored out of my skull watching us struggle against a plucky Harrogate side.

We had 78% possession - 68% of which was passing the ball sideways and backwards 10 yards either side of the half-way line. We should do what other teams do and occasionally boot in into the opposition penalty area where a decent bounce or deflection can cause chaos amongst defenders.
Talking of missing chances did anyone see the chances Havertz missed in the Arsenal/Scum match last night ? Looked like Bamford in disguise.
