Segregation at ER
I can’t understand why we had to lose so many seats in the South stand to allow for segregation of home and away fans for the cup game. Most clubs these days have H & A fans stood next to each other with a few stewards or they take out maybe 3 columns of seats and cover them with netting. We lost two blocks, one each in the upper and lower South stand. I could understand if it was a high risk game but Harrogate Town!! I heard an amusing chant just before KO. “You’re just a town full of tea rooms”, which made me and several others nearby have a good laugh.
Also, what is it with block FA7 in the South West corner, they never seem to sell seats in there. Why don’t they move the flag that covers half the block and cash in?

Let's see how that goes for Millwall..... I've been at games where its kicked off between us and Huddersfield fans and its not nice for kids about.
Its always there, its tribal..... Very human. Some can control it, others can't. When it goes off at Leeds it does tend to go off big time as you say.
Think the authorities/owners saw it was a "Derby" and thought oh s**t its Leeds let's err on the side of caution. Got to remember that unlike us many of the board are very new to Leeds as a fanbase and don't know instantly what games could kick off and the ones that won't.

Harrogate may be a town of tea rooms, but they are some incredible tea rooms.

Re: Segregation at ER
If they segregated Leeds & Harrogate fans then they’ll probably just close the entire East and West stands if it’s Millwall, lot of history there.ElKapitan wrote: ↑Mon Jan 13, 2025 12:07 am Let's see how that goes for Millwall..... My favourite Harrogate venue is the Little Ale House. Pricey sometimes yes, especially for the 10% and over Imperial Stouts, but you get some fabulous beers in a converted front room.

They call them ‘fat rascals’. I once went in and ordered a ‘fat ba***rd’.

Re: Segregation at ER
Unfortunately these days non segregation just isnt going to happen, regardless of who the oposition may be. All clubs including Leeds have a small minority of fans whos idea of a good game is to get involved in a fight with oposition fans.
That could lead to disaster in many ways and its not something any club can or should have to deal with.
I realize the fans in Rugby mix with each other and it creates a great atmosphere, for some reason football fans are "less well behaved" i will leave it at that

I always used to drink in the Glue pot on a saturday afternoon... Upstairs, several of us young soldiers and a whole group of hairy heavy metal fans would have loud rock music blaring out of the juke box, and I would hang out the window letching at all the totty waking by.....

Whats the snow like up there apart from white, we still have plenty around here although it's thawing fast, the lakes are unfreezing and the main roads are clear, still poor on the tops though.
I was at Dunbar about 4 yrs back on the hill tops and it was a good job I had a 4x4 otherwise I would've been stuck and thats not that far up Scotland.

I was talking to my server there and mentioned I had worked in a couple of places so special people would travel from all over the world to be there and that I never got over the special feeling I got just walking in to work every day. I told her I hoped she had that same feeling working at Betty's. She assured me she did.
