Here we go again
Pascal is out for 3-12 weeks and the only back up is Wober who has his own injury issues. Amps can play CB but not a natural and much better in midfield. Out French man showed against Harrogate he is also much suited to midfield.
So unless we get a decent CB in the coming week i now forecast we will NOT be in the top 2 come the end of the season. GREAT planning by our manager, board and owners

3-12 weeks. What sort of a forecast is that
Re: here we go again
If they wait 3 weeks and it turns out it's worse the transfer window will be shut by then anyway
Do other clubs do this?
We've had this loads of time before where its meant to be a short injury then a player disappears for months

The board are wide awake watching the pennies, they have no real intentions of pushing on as I see it, wheres the forward thinking !!
They are more interested in winging it again.

Don’t think we can separate board and manager here either

Shouldn't be in training if injured

Aren’t they all ? Struijk, Firpo, Bamford, Ramazani, Ampadu, Byram, Wober, James……… all have had their problems. Some positions are easier covered than others but either of Struijk, Rodon or Piroe will leave us seriously struggling. Sound familiar ?

Re: here we go again
They are clearly very aware of the situation it can easily go two ways. We rest on laurels at such a pivotal stage in the season and it'll cost us again. We have under two weeks left and it shouldn't take a crisis for them to act.mentalcase wrote: ↑Fri Jan 17, 2025 4:10 pm The board are wide awake watching the pennies, they have no real intentions of pushing on as I see it, wheres the forward thinking !!

Yes agreed overman, what I'm insinuating is they are exactly resting on their laurels again, of course they're aware of the situation, just that we never seem to counter it, if this is supposed to be the best squad in the league, we ought to be runningaway with it, I know it dosen't always work that way and teams have blips, especially in this league.
I've said far too many times we ought to speculate to accumulate (not ridsdale stlye either), but get additions in, surely theyr'e not leaving it all to Farke, and if they are, haven't they noticed his track record in the PL through lack of investment !!

Going to be heavily reliant on Joe& Amps then. Or Wober I suppose. Old Joes hair will get even more wild and his cheeks will be even redder.
