P. Comfortable win, clean sheet and two good goals.

N. Oddly, too comfortable as in we seemed to do the bare minimum as Norwich weren’t a threat in the end.

P.3 points.
N.I could have been off doing something constructive instead of witnessing it.

Guessing you'd prefer a 5-4 loss. Winning promotion is all about making sure of the win. Never felt like the result was under threat tonight and always more likely that we would score again.

P: Professional performance. Got the goal and the comfortably dealt with Norwich without taking many risks.

N: Shame Piroe didn't get a goal I thought he put in an excellent shift including a well taken yellow. Not bad for a player who supposedly doesn't run.
I love leeds united, may I never admit to it. :shhh:

Positive: Champagne football with Piroe and Aaronson Duracell bunnies for 90 minutes. 3 points and a clean sheet, in addition to being top of the table. Masterclass by Farke. Brilliant substitutions made at the right time. Exhibition football laid on for the 49ers CEO who seemed to be enjoying himself with Angus, They seemed to be saying that was an easy win... looks like we don't need any reinforcements this transfer window.

Negative: Illan has still not mooned the fans who were negative about him... don't think he had a single save to make. Defended 4 corners with ease like a world class goalkeeper and his distribution was exceptional much to the dismay of his detractors.

Happy with the 3 points.

But it was like watching paint dry as it often is, functional I suppose but you can see in the atmosphere what a tough watch it is.

Thought we'd really go for it after going ahead so soon but we didn't (never do).

It was professional but glad Norwich had so many injuries.

I will watch paint dry quite happily until the end of the season if we win every game 2-0.

The trouble is that if you really go for it then it leaves you open for a dangerous counter attack - we very nearly got caught out shortly after we scored.

Controlling the game we took away most of the risk and still had plenty of chances to increase the lead. A more efficient team probably wins 4 or 5-0 and doesn't play any differently.

I think it was a tricky situation. We'd already made the 2 early subs to take off Byram and Tanaka. As such it was probably then more precautionary to take the wingers off (and in fairness Gnonto and Ramiazani probably desevred to come on more than Joseph). Then there was only 1 sub left and that was the usual Gilavogi 5 minute run out.

+ Regulation 2-0 win that kept us on top with all our rivals winning and a good use of early subs for those on yellow cards. One eye certainly was on the Burnley game.

- Bogle's volley didn't go in from Tanaka's lovely cross field ball. It would have been a stunner. Ao can do it all.

P: 3 points, Firpo reminding us what we've been missing, Gruev can take a corner.
N: Boring, Piroe useless again, Rothwell can't take a corner.

I understand it I really do.

And it's working at the moment.

It does leave you open to twitchy moments because you rarely are more than a goal or two away from the opposition.

And at times yesterday when Norwich really did well to beat out press I did think thank God Sargent and Sainz and them are out because few better players we could have been in trouble at times.

But It worked, we are in good form and if we are promoted at the end of it it's worth it.
