Promotion or not?
OK, so 8 games to go, Black Hills Paul sees Leeds gaining automatic promotion like myself, Morpheus has condemned us to the playoffs, while others like SG90 aren't sure where we'll end up.
So come on, nail your colours to the mast, if nothing else it will give everyone a glimpse of who the happy-clapper rose-tinted spec wearers are as opposed to the prophets of doom.
It is the International break after all, what else would you be doing?

Automatic promotion,hopefully as Champions

Re: Promotion or not?
I've gone for us to finish 2nd.
No idea who will finish above us and don't care.

Re: Promotion or not?
I don’t see our home form collapsing, coupled with a few results away, I don’t see any reason to change my mind from the start of the season.
Automatic promotion for me.
Automatic promotion for me.

Oh and no fence sitting as it's colours to the mast time

Re: Promotion or not?
Four home & two away victories = 18 points & we could afford to lose the other two games, would be more than enough on 98 points
In fact, we would probably go up with five wins & one draw on 96 points.
We have lost four games all season, only one defeat in 2025, so I can't see us losing more than two games.
We have proven, we are a hard team to beat.

Automatic, as champions

Re: Promotion or not?
Well done Dave, get everyone out of the closet
Said all along we’d win it and not changing my mind now. Champions

Re: Promotion or not?
Sticking with my original prediction, promotion as runners up, I think Burnley will beat the blunts and pip us to the post.

Auto as champions. We were always going to have a blip at some point, no need to s**t our collective pants. Strong home form and a few points on the road and we'll be fine.

I’m not particularly bothered Jammy, but I’ll plump for 2nd.

Are the bookies ever wrong???
Leeds United's promotion prospects are exceptionally strong. Recent betting odds indicate a 97% probability of promotion, reflecting their consistent performance throughout the season.
You have to wonder how they adjust the odds. I just think they look at where the money is bein laid an adjust the odds accordinly... not concerned about injuries or international breaks, rotations or consistancy. No emotion involved, just plain business.
Can you trust a computer???
Opta's supercomputer predicts Leeds as the likely Championship winners, further solidifying their favorable position. What does a computer know about fears, fans melt downs, or emotions... nothing. All it is interested in is numbers and algorithms.
In the 2023-2024 Championship season, the Opta supercomputer strongly predicted Leicester City to achieve automatic promotion, assigning them a 94.8% probability.
As victor Meldrew used to say when something happens that he didn't expect.
"I don't believe it!!!"

As it is so tight our superior goal difference squeaks me into promoted as Champions.
Also both our rivals have to play each other and the Sky Blues - come on Frank, you're a lovely chap, you can do it for us.

Automatic promotion - whether champions or runners up could depend on the Blunts v Burnley match in April. I watched some of the Owls v Blunts match last weekend and how the Blunts keep winning beats me - their 'keeper was man of the match and they surely cannot keep the luck in their favour.

Promoted as champions.
Then spend all summer reading about how we aren't recruiting properly or getting the right players in to survive the EPL.
