Summer poll ideas

Not done these for a few years but they were quite popular.

We've done an MOTforum best female and male singer poll and a Best Stand-up Comic poll.

Kate Bush
Billy Connolly

Won those.

Does anyone have any suggestions for another?

If indeed is interest in another.

They do fill the none football months for a few weeks.

I reckon a player's poll would keep things lively.

Keep
Sell
Loan out

Maybe do three players a week, so we don't flood the whole of the front page with polls.

Keep all the polls running indefinitely until close to the start of the new season.

We did Super group by decades on waccoe in the mists of time (15 years ago maybe)

for example

Best lead vocalist 60's and 70's
Best lead guitarist 60's and 70's
Bassist
Drummer
Keyboards

Then ditto for 80's/90's

etc

I've generally stayed away from football polls because it's a Leeds forum and positions would just be full of Leeds players probably.

Manager poll for the same reason and I can't bare the thought of having to put ridiculous sentences like "and Daniel Farke wins the greatest ever manager semi final poll over Carlo Ancelotti".

Hence why I've stuck with more general stuff like Comedy and music.

Unlikely as in Spain it is far more likely that he would be fined rather than get a prison sentence due to the nature of the offence.

Love the idea – those polls were a good laugh and definitely help pass the quieter months. Maybe something like "Best Movie Soundtrack" or "Greatest Sporting Moment" could spark a few debates? It’s a bit like crypto too – getting involved early in these kinds of things can pay off long-term. Has to be the Aguero goal for me. Certainly in football anyway.
