The forgiving type I take it. Struijk has been solid so far, he was unfortunate with both goals against Spurs, we haven’t even seen Bijol yet. If he played and had a stinker chances are you would want him sold in the winter window.

The team pretty much picks itself with the absences and the fact that DF will not change the formation. I suppose Tanaka and Peri are the only real alternatives in the expected starting line up. But on what I have seen so far, Tanaka has struggled at this level thus far as time on the ball is massively reduced before being closed down. Once he becomes accustomed to the rhythm I expect he will feature more as a starter.

I certainly would not change the 3 in midfield or 4 at the back. JH and Aaronson are our only wide options and DCL is a no brainer. So we are not blessed with options. I am not concerned who starts in goal between Perri and Darlow.

Struilk has not been that good this season and we need a very solid defence. DF spent £15 million on a new CB so lets see him in the starting 11 and then we can all judge
