Is Jack Harrison good enough to play for Leeds? - Poll of the Day (13th Nov)
The problem is, Harrison has a contract with Leeds until the summer 2028.

Not good enough for Leeds

The thought of Jack & Brenden playing together in our team three years after the Marsch debacle, is a major disappointment for me, never gave it a thought I'd witness this situation again, especially back in the Premier League.

If we had plenty of other options off the bench not in a million years but we don’t. Went for squad player but to be used as a last resort and certainly not as left back.
Football is 90% mental, the other half is physical.

A squad player at best. Someone else's preferably.

I'd rather we took a punt with Ramazani, but we're stuck with Harrison as obviously nobody wants him, pity we didn't let the Leicester deal go through

I'm not even sure he is of Championship standard. Might be ok in MLS but with us and in the Premiership should be nowhere near the playing squad. However, he has a contract and whichever way you cut it Jack Harrison gets paid.
Some managers have been criticised for having a so called "Bomb Squad". It take some bottle to have one of those but those managers have the courage of their convictions and go down that route. LUFC and or Daniel Farke do not have the guts to simply put their hands up and acknowledge that here is a player not good enough to select and put the player out to pasture until his contract runs out or pay up and get shot of him.
Farke does not seem to appreciate that his reputation is on the line

What was the point of signing James Justin, if we are going to use Harrison in the LB position,
We'd have been better off going with three CBs at the back, and pushing Gudmundsson & Bogle more forward as our offensive options.
Is it any wonder our fan base are becoming frustrated with Farke's strange decisions?

I'm unsure what Jack could offer at championship level.PhoenixUnited wrote: ↑Thu Nov 13, 2025 9:49 am I'm not even sure he is of Championship standard. We're in another Bamford financial situation with Jack.

No.
But if we’re all right then what does Farke see in him.

I agree completely, Farke’s tactics v Forest were bizarre to say the least. Everyone could see their early subs changed the game but rather than react he dithered until we went behind and then it was full out panic mode. I honestly believe he thinks if he lumps all our forwards on and sticks Harrison at LB and we score he’ll be hailed as a genius whereas Harrison proved what a disaster it was.1964white wrote: ↑Thu Nov 13, 2025 9:50 am What was the point of signing James Justin, if we are going to use Harrison in the LB position,

I think it was Carrick Dave who said when Harrison came on that we’d settled for the defeat

So it’s obvious how I voted.
Re: Is Jack Harrison good enough to play for Leeds? - Poll of the Day (13th Nov)
Of course Harrison is good enough but he's definitely struggling at the moment which I suspect it's more mental than anything to do with ability. Of course Farke didn't help on Sunday and with Gnonto now ready to return I suspect opportunities will be reduced for Jack until injuries strike again.

I think it is becuase he knows he is stuck with him and the only was we can get shot is if he plays well and someone wants him, even on loan. Same as Aaronson too.
Personally I think having to rely on them is holding us back as a club

I always think game over once I see Jack limbering up.CUSSIE01 wrote: ↑Thu Nov 13, 2025 10:27 am I agree completely, Farke’s tactics v Forest were bizarre to say the least.
