Manchester City pre match chat

Post by Cjay »

God help us.

After a battling but ultimately futile performance vs Aston Villa we travel to Manchester and meet Pep Guardiola and his slightly stuttering by their standard Man City side.

4 defeats already including last match out vs Newcastle, they've also lost to Brighton, Aston Villa and Tottenham.

Least we managed a draw in the same fixtures, pathetic Man City.

They do however have the 2nd best home record in the league, 5 wins 1 defeat.

And we of course have the 3rd worst away record with only a win vs appalling Wolves stopping it being a clean sweep of defeats.

Everyone knows the tactics they use.

Pass pass pass etc.

Key players are well known, Haaland and whoever else they use on the day

From our point of view . . . . . Help!!!!!

It would be nice to show the same intensity we did first half vs Villa, do we think we will see that vs Man City or wave the white flag as usual?

Any changes?

Lucas Perri has come in for criticism, Darlow in?

The Aaronson debate has raged but after DF having a passionate and odd defence of him yesterday would it be weird if he dropped him?

Does Nmecha keep his place?

For a bit of hope one of the very very few wins DF has as a Premier League manager was against Pep Guardiola, so is that.

A home game for Norwich 3-2.

Unfortunately we are away, both of those have ended 5-0 to Man City.
Signed
