Pick your striker/formation - Poll of the Day I (13th Dec)

Post by Cjay »

With Nmecha out.

Would people either stick with 2 up top (if so pick one of the strikers)

Will assume Calvert-Lewin starts regardless of formation.

So either select an additional striker or select the formation change for Brentford with DCL up top in a 4-3-3

Mine would be DCL & Piroe, but I’d be surprised if it’s not DCL & Okafor.

Piroe for me, proven goal scorer sitting on our bench. He deserves a chance, if it doesn’t work at least we’ll know.

4-3-3 for me. Gnonto and Okafor flanking DCL.

Would like to see Willy given a go. Think he'd be a real danger.

Stick with 3-5-2, changing to 4-3-3 if needs must in the second-half.

It's worked so far, why change it?

Gnonto in his international role, playing off Calvert-Lewin would be interesting, giving us pace upfront.

It’s an away game in London, therefore I’d start with 3-5-2 and see how it goes.
We need a point minimum so change it later in the game, if needed, to win it.

I'd like to see Joel given a chance.

I know many don't think he's good enough (something weirdly agreed with by Farke seemingly) but I think in the right system he'd score and create well at this level.

If the system isn't right like any player he'd struggle.

But he's the best finisher and probably the best final pass player we've got imo.

Think Gnonto is comfortably the best final pass player we have..

We have our favourites, I'll go on record Piroe is the best finisher but he's not in Gnonto's class as a passer...

Overall passing I'd agree, I think Gnonto is a tidy passer.

But imo if I had to pick someone to play the final pass for an assist.

To be weighted and timed right and directed perfectly I'd pick Piroe.
