8 for the first half
6 for the second
But that's not on the players for me ..

I assume the majority are blaming Farke!

Difficult not to, Leon. We could all see how leggy BA and DCL were by the 70 minute mark, DF waited too long to make changes. Yes, he has limited options, but he dithered. Moyes, in fairness, didn't after we played them off the park first half and it worked. I'm happy with the point, but it could have been three and I think that's down to Farke's in-game management. He's got a whole lot right over the last 10 games, but I do think he got it wrong last night, Everton were there for the taking.

Has to share the blame when things go wrong as well as lap up the praise when they go right. We were in total command and Moyes made changes which changed the game, DF did nothing to respond and even though some players were out on their feet ( especially Aaronson ) made the subs too late. Just mho. Sevennnnnnnnnn .

8 1st half
5 2nd half
Arronson was a liability from 70 mins...had run into the ground. Nothing was sticking up front and it was one way traffic for 45 > 85mins. Should have changed things earlier as the win was possible.
Suspect we will see are a more pragmatic attaching approach on Saturday - by that I mean steady 1st half, then change up the attack from 65 mins (so earlier subs)

Farke could have made four or five subs & still lost the game, Nicklufc1304 wrote: ↑Tue Jan 27, 2026 9:50 am Difficult not to, Leon. And then what?
Meltdown on here, that he made the wrong subs!!!

Sometimes, you have to question our players, who sat back when they know in their own minds, they are not great at holding onto a lead, due to silly errors & complacency. Slack passes, losing possession & hoofing the ball anywhere is not the answer to defending a lead.CUSSIE01 wrote: ↑Tue Jan 27, 2026 9:54 am Has to share the blame when things go wrong as well as lap up the praise when they go right. Our players were at fault for inviting the pressure & not performing in the style Farke requires, as we did so in the first-half.

I don’t think any of the players were complacent. Moyes changed their formation at half time and we couldn’t adapt to the new challenge.1964white wrote: ↑Tue Jan 27, 2026 11:00 am Sometimes, you have to question our players, who sat back when they know in their own minds, they are not great at holding onto a lead, due to silly errors & complacency. My concern going forward is that other managers will use that as a blueprint when playing Leeds, so Daniel and the players have work to do before Saturday.

No one blames the players when they are poor. I would imagine Farke was frustrated with our players performances after the break. I reckon he played safe & was happy with a point.Carrick Dave wrote: ↑Tue Jan 27, 2026 11:07 am I don’t think any of the players were complacent. That Everton bench was strong & we struggled to get to grips with their substitutions.

7 for me = 9 first half and 5 second half.
For me, it depended on what DF wanted ie try to keep the lead and stay compact which is what it looked like part way through the second half, or go for another goal which if it comes off then great but as Everton were on top it could have backfired and we lose.
Tanaka for Aaronson after an hour and let him harass their back line the way Aaronson did would have been my choice IF we were holding on to what we had.
Playing the way we did in the first half throughout the second would have totally knackered us for the Arsenal game. It’s a fine line deciding what’s best.

6/10 The game was ours to win but we failed to manage the game to our strengths... We missed Gudmunsson on the left and need a left footed player to cover, Justin is a good player but he is not a direct replacement for Gabby. imo
