With six days of the January Window remaining, are you confident we'll make another signing?

Confident - no.
Expectant - I think we will, but my memory (despite what my wife says) is long, and it reminds me that this is Leeds United we are discussing, so no - I vote no to confidence.

Please don't ever make the mistake of taking me seriously.

Daniel's comments in his press conferences with regard to future signings leaves me with no confidence.
The longer the JSL saga goes on, I become less confident.
The Buonanotte loan signing was a surprise!

January transfers are expensive... and are usually a sign of desperation. Think of the time needed to integrate them into tactics and formation... imagine what might happen if you invite a prima dona into the dressing room.
work with what you have and make it better... 10 games without defeat means that we must be doing something right.

I voted no but in all honesty I won't be disappointed if we don't sign anyone as I am happy with the squad we have and if we stay up I think we will be in a good position to have more options in the summer. For me I felt our biggest way to improve the side was if a no.10 became available - that happened and we got him in. It gives us options to change things up a bit and have a creative player. As such if we don't make another signing I am happy with what we have. This squad of players have been improving throughout the season and we have Longstaff and Dan James hopefully both nearing full returns to give us more options.

Leeds making no signings last January proved your valid point.Sean_Nile wrote: ↑Wed Jan 28, 2026 8:56 am January transfers are expensive... and are usually a sign of desperation. West Ham are so desperate, they sign players & throw them straight into the mix.

No, but I’m not too concerned.
Strand Larsen if it happens, doesn’t guarantee goals nor does anyone else for 40m, it’s just hope.

Indeed. If you look at last year and Sheff U were the biggest movers in January signing the likes of Brereton-Diaz. He made such a difference he is now at mid table Derby. Often a telling reason why someone is available.

I agree. The squad we have at the moment should be enough to keep us up as long as there isn't an injury crisis.weasel wrote: ↑Wed Jan 28, 2026 9:18 am I voted no but in all honesty I won't be disappointed if we don't sign anyone as I am happy with the squad we have and if we stay up I think we will be in a good position to have more options in the summer. If we get JSL that we be a bonus.

The current Charlie Cresswell rumours have Brighton having a 24m bid turned down and yet if he was still at Leeds, he’d be fourth choice at best (we wouldn’t have bought one of Bijol or Bornauw) and I doubt many PL clubs would be interested enough to pay over 10m for him - it’s bonkers.

No but then I thought Piroe deserved a chance so what do I know.

I didn't think we'd sign any in this window, So I'm more than happy with the one we've brought in.

sorry to be pessimistic but if we don't i can see us going down or in a best case scenario, get dragged into a serious dogfight and scrape it out jesse marsch style

We'll be putting all our eggs in one basket I feel, but if we get to the end of the season with the squad intact we'll be fine..

We're already in a serious dogfight.

Yes, all their signings were ineffective!
The blunts bought the striker Tom Cannon for £10+, who mustered one goal in 15+ appearances.
