Meslier - 8.5 - One excellent save of the Rashford free kick. Commanded his area well, excellent distribution
Ayling - 8 - Solid all game. One bad giveaway toward the end, but otherwise excellent
Llorente - 9 - What a steal he's turning out to be. One of the best defenders in the EPL right now.
Struijk - 8.5 - His development has been astonishing. What was once our weakest position (CB) is now our strongest
Alioski - 7.5 - His yellow card was undeserved (he was standing still). Smothered a lot of chances
Phillips - 9 - Didn't put a foot wrong all day
Costa - 6.5 - Only served to show us how much we miss Raphinha
Dallas - 7 - Solid, but unspectacular
Roberts - 6.5 - Meh
Harrison - 6 - See ROberts
Bamford - 6.5 - Barely had a touch on their side of the field (not entirely his fault, though). Defended set pieces well
subs
Poveda - 6 - Another Shakespearean performance, full of sound and fury, signifying nothing
Klich - 6 - Could have done better with what was our best chance at goal, but otherwise solid
Koch - 6.5 - Are we looking at the future with both KP and Koch on the pitch at the same time?

Meslier - 8.5 - Surprisingly little to do but one great save when needed
Ayling - 7 - Curates egg of a game, some horrible passing, couple of dodgy moments in defence but some good defensive stuff too while providing an outlet
Alioski - 8 - Best game from him for a while, very busy. Unlucky with the yellow
Llorente - 8.5 - Very good game in defence, can't recall any errors
Struijk - 7.5 - Could have been responsible for a couple of MU goals had they taken their chances. But also calm and collected in defence for the most part
Phillips - 10 - Perfect performance, Fernandez was a non factor, broke up play, set off attacks and organised the defence. His best of the season
Dallas - 6.5 - Quiet, one weak shot, few poor passes. He's allowed an off day
Harrison - 6.5 - off 67 - After a MOTM performancev Liverpool this was a let down, ineffectual today, couldn't get into it on either flank
Costa - 7.5 - off inj 71m - Thought he had a good game, with a bit of luck could have gotten on the scoresheet
Roberts - 8.5 - off tactical, 76m - Most of what was good going forward came via Roberts quick feet and clever brain, some top quality off the ball work too running into dangerous spaces well
Bamford - 7.0 - yellow - 70m - Mostly anonymous, good defensive headers in the first and a couple of nice passes in the second in the second but outside of that didn't get into the game. Missed a lovely Roberts run , first touch lets him down too much

Poveda - 7 - OK
Klich - 7 - Rusty still doesn't look fit
Koch - 6 - Seemed to be playing centre mid, thought that was strange, lost the ball late which lead to a dangerous counter

Meslier 8: Surprisingly didn't have a lot to do against that attack. One great save, caught the ball well towards the end, kept it simple using the ball. Switched on performance.

Ayling 8: Great captains performance from Bill. Great going forward, put is body on the line.

Llorente 8: Outstanding first 15mins, remained solid throughout, controlled the ball really well. He can play.

Struijk 9: I thought he was outstanding especially second half, its up there with his best performance for me. I can't believe that he will be dropped again?

Alioski 8: A great game from Alio. Saved us a couple of times with last ditch tackles, for his size he is strong in the air, got forward well, perhaps, like Ayling at times needed better final ball.

Phillips 10: Rock solid outstanding defensive performance, best player on the pitch by a mile imo. Negated their best player, strong in the tackle, last ditch tackles. Take kp out of this side and we become lightweight he really is that important for me. And to top it off Southgate was there to witness it.

Costa 5: Not good enough again, he makes Harrison look world class and he was garbage aswell. One deflected shot and nothing else of note. We need better, i couldn't believe Bielsa didn't take him off.

Dallas 6: Quiet game from Stuart today, dare i say it, he looked a bit leggy today. Not the influential driving force we needed. Worked hard.

Roberts 3: Passenger

Harrison 5: Same as Costa. We just wasn't at the races up top today. Raph is so important running in behind. MU won't have a easier game all season in defence.

Bamford 6: Gets a extra point for a couple of good defensive headers. You could feel the frustration today from Paddy when he booted the ball away. Feeding of scraps today without the creativity of Raph.

subs
Poveda 4: Never got into the game after a decent showing last time.
Klich 5: Looks like he's aged about 10 years. He moves like a lame racehorse.
Koch 7: Added a bit more bite in midfield when he came on and we kept Pogba quiet.

Meslier 8 = Cracking save in the 1st half. Otherwise easy but looked solid

Ayling 10 - Fantastic at both ends and covering across the middle

Llorente 9 - Looks more and more like a Rolls Royce every week

Struijk 9 - Very solid, cutting out everything. Showing more and more confidence in possession

Alioski 8 Yes, Ali was solid in defense made some key tackles

Phillips 9 - Brilliant defensively

Costa 7 - Good game, created our best moves going forward

Dallas 7 - Quiet but solid in midfield. Showed versatility again (first time he's played wing this season?)

Roberts 7 - Looked comfortable with creating much of note

Harrison 6 - Nothing to criticize but not much to note either

Bamford 6 - Tough day. Worked his socks off immensely. Not much to feed on but misread a couple of crosses that might have led to more

subs
Poveda 6 - Lively as ever but not much effect

Klich 7 - Looked good when he came on. I think he'd be worth a start in front of our new KP and Dallas midfield

Koch 7 Nice to see his versatility

Meslier - 8 - Did everything that was required of him. Excellent save from Rashford. Kept calm when on the ball with Man United's high-press.

Ayling - 8.5 - Gave away a few loose passes, but most on the team did. However some excellent cover defending and was part of a very solid backline.

Llorente - 9.5 - Would have had my MOTM but Phillips was almost flawless. So comfortable on the ball and just excellent reading of the game. Just getting better and better.

Struijk - 9 - What a gem we have here. That defending on Pogba near the LB position was beyond his years. Building up a brilliant understanding with Llorente and I just can't see why he will get dropped once Cooper is back (but he will  ).

Alioski - 8.5 - Massive amount of energy and made some great tackles. Like Ayling, turned the ball over a few times on transition. I love Ali's professionalism...no signs of him thinking of reigning it in and protecting himself for a new gig elsewhere.

Phillips - 10 - MOTM. Everywhere tackling and breaking play up. Southgate will have left very impressed by that performance.

Costa - 5 - Not very good today, but none of our attack were. When he moved to the left looked more effective and put a beauty of a ball across that box that really begged to be tapped in by someone. Took a bad fall after being wrestled so I hope Raph is fit for our next game or we might see a new face in the starting lineup.

Dallas - 6 - Solid without ever standing out.

Roberts - 6 - Typical Roberts game. Some excellent footwork and skills at times, then diabolical the next minute.

Harrison - 5.5 - Poor performance from Jack but Scum did not allow him much space.

Bamford - 6 - Would have been 5.5 but gets a 6 for some good defending in our own area. Did not see much of the ball but very little service.

subs
Poveda - 6 - Lots of energy without really affecting the game. Was hoping he could give Shaw something to think about. At least he chased and did not give up at all.

Klich - 6 - Actually got into a couple of good positions in attack, which is more than could be said for others. Otherwise was a bit slow as others have pointed out.

Koch - 6 - Not sure was he on long enough to deserve a score but given our defensive needs he did the job he was asked to do.
