Hopefully Farke gives them a rocket at half time to wake them up a bit.
He's done alright Tanaka

Only really made one mistake and he covered for it

He's not playing in his best role though.

He's deeper than Amps at times for some unknown reason.

Tanaka has taken some abuse on and off the ball, with the ref turning a blind eye.

Great hit from Stach, but we’re not making promising moves count since.

1-0 is not going to be enough here I think, get it sorted Daniel.

Mon Leeds.
I agree, we need a second.

Early into the second half, otherwise it will get nervy late on (something we dont need) - I would hate for a snatch and grab 1-1 to ruin my weekend

Not while Stach's on the pitch... they can't play together.

It's that double pivot and I think Tanaka defers to Ampadu so it's Amps that gets forward more..

Jaydog wrote: Fri May 01, 2026 7:49 pm Okafor way too greedy as in the Chelsea game.
So many times he can pass & he doesn’t.
I don’t think he often has the ball under control when he is running with the ball at his feet. His technique lets him down a lot. As Cjay said he has a DJ vibe, better when he is running with the ball into space.

Struijk has not had a great first half by his standards, Justin plays the LB role differently to Guds in terms of his initial positioning when we play out in transition, he is often beyond Okafor and that has made the left side rather disjointed.

Hope we can get another twenty minutes out of Stach, he’s the one midfielder with the ability to make it more comfortable.

Stats don't back that up.... Lost the ball the most of any Leeds player in the first half at 3..... Two of which led to Burnley's only half chances (slip in our pen area leading to his pass to jayden antony in pen area and dispossessed on the edge of theirs leading to the counter).

Don't get me wrong one of my favourite players but he's not looked great for most of the season and certainly not tonight.

Was expecting him to be on the ball a lot more and dictating play but he has been fairly anonymous. We've looked short of bodies in possession, a lot of times where you'd expect someone to be there for an easy pass but no one is. It is making the Burnley press look good and it shouldn't.

Would definitely like us to get a second goal and then play a bit better.

It was all too cautious for me. We should have had a real go at them from the start. Instead, we got the goal and sat back. Only 9 shots with 2 on goal. We can do better than that against this team. I expect Farke to play safety first. But I would really like to see our guys just come out and attack with purpose!

All going to plan just need to create a bit more upfront - though we controlled the game well thus far it only take a second at 1-0 to throw it away.

I'd agree

I'd like to see Tanaka more forward and for Okafor and DCL to be more involved.

Some good moments but also some loose play. Mixed bag for me so far, but he is always looking for the ball which is important in the middle.

Plus, Rodon and Struijk both on yellows.
The ref would just love a chance to send them off, might not remember they were booked though.

I’m expecting a big 20 mins to the get the second. That Farke will seal it up.

I get the vibe it is the players rather than Farke going for the cautious approach. Hoping he unlesahes the fier-beast!
