Good day at the office, Shirley we get a home draw in the next round :o
It is my view it was a preloaded pop at Farke in the event we lost.

I was quite impressed with Gruev today, busy little battler in the middle.

Meslier is only 6 months older than Klaesson, I've never thought there was much between them and Meslier had very little experience when he made his debut for us

I don't know if they were full tilt themselves... but the levels were clear for all to see, shame it wont ont real telly for all to witness. . What a professional performance that was.

It’s fourth round cup weekend.
So another midweek game added to the calendar

They forget Mes had little experience when he started games too. Klaesson has done enough to keep his place. Had he played instead of Darlow v Preston and WBA, I wonder if we'd have picked up any points.

Way to represent...MOT!!

"I’ve just been watching the pitch announcer. He’s been gesturing up to the booth to tell them to turn up the PA system,” Buchanan said.

“That’s because the Leeds fans have been belting out Marching On Together constantly. He wants it turned up so people can hear the music and not make it sound like a Leeds home game.”

Cant have it all ways Kev. A cup run means postponed games....

If Bamford can remain fit he will be a good option for us for the remainder of the season. Still frustrates me at time but he makes such good runs off the ball. Stretching the defence and causing mayhem amongst positionally disciplined teams that also sit deep will create space and opportunities for Cry and Rutter.
Not suggesting he is the silver bullet but as he gets his mojo back he adds offensive options that were not previously available.

You watching the Arsenal game Sid and how much they're 'fannying' around with it at the back before going forward, apparently it's the new 'garlic bread'

It does Swannie, although I think the fifth round is scheduled for midweek.

Anyway, nice to be in the hat/bowl for the draw.

Why couldn’t Bamford be the silver bullet. He was last time we got promoted. I’d love it if he did continue this mini revival and hoping his body holds up. You never know.

It’s also nice to have another option beyond piroe.

So, we now how nearly 1 week to rest, wind down, get massages, do some light work.

We apparently now have the best nutritional advice, state of the art facilities, sports science boffins, statheads, keep feckin fit freaks, no smoking, no booze....and are paid in the £thousands.

As someone kindly pointed out - Ampadu Rodon Gray have virtually been ever present.

So from now till the next game, how much time do they need to recover and be ready to play 90 mins of footy ?

I used to work and go home tert nymphomaniac wife - that's a full working day lad.

I think 4th round should be a bye week in the Championship anyway, as the majority are in cup action. Leicester, Ipswich and Southampton all went through, so glad we won't be playing on that day.

And when did you retire from “a full working day”?

On a serious note a weeks rest should be enough.

Please.

I was one of those who was afraid of this match, but I've never taken shots at Farke, nor will I. He's been great for us.

He didn't play our best eleven and with good reason. A Cup run will be great if we can do it, but it can't some at the expense of possible promotion. Had we lost today and still rested Summerville and Rutter I'd have been disappointed but not bereft and I would have understood Farke's thinking entirely.

In the past it has impacted on league form for a game or three after. A blip wouldn't be welcome for those of us that still think Auto is on
