7. Delighted with Trafford and Muharemovic and look forward to seeing them both grow and develop with us. Not exactly bowled over by anything else that has happened. Disappointed with the departures of Gnonto, Bornauw, Struijk and Piroe and the fact that we still have a couple of Championship level players getting game time. Shame we couldn't get Brandt or a striker to compete with DCL.

A very good 9.

Quality acquisitions throughout the team.

Two definite starters every week with the possibility of that rising to four if Wilson and Bohoya force their way into the team and even if they don't they will have a major part to play unlike Piroe and Gnonto who they have replaced.

With us also adding better cover in defence it's been a great window for us without spending absolute fortunes.

One of our best windows ever!

No doubt, some will diss it.

Some choose to lament the players that have left whilst at the same time wishing for us to replace Championship level players. We made that mistake last time by keeping the likes of Cooper, Ayling & Meslier etc but this time around the necessary decisive action has been taken and yet still some won't be pleased.

O Gnonto, wherefore art thou Gnonto.

Same with Piroe, Struijk etc and it just doesn't make any sense.

Hopeful with Bahoya and he should bring some excitement...

Bard, Elvedi, Wilson brings some cover in areas we were light.

But disappointed we didn't get a 10 or striker and the squad is still small which could be an issue with injuries

You forgot to mention lowering the age of the squad which was something you were concerned about before this window.

All our signings bar Wilson have plenty of years left in them and at least 3 of them have the potential for a significant financial profit should they do well over the next couple of seasons.

Superb window, worth 8.5 but no option, so I went 8.

A Brandt level 10 and a good striker would have made it perfect.

Squad base level elevated, ceiling raised, deadwood off the wage bill, depth added at LB & LW.

Tough one - some positives and negatives.

Some great incoming players for me.

My negative perspective:

Whilst I appreciate selling players is not always easy, as fundamentally they need suitors willing to pay - but we have again struggled to offload many players unless under the guise of a ‘possible / maybe’ promissory bill of sale. We do have a continuous soft touch persona in this regard.

How successful we have been overall, will become more apparent as the season progresses, but it looks promising. The new kid with pace to burn ( which is one of the most expensive commodities) could turn out to be a gem.

Every one of the players who left - even the ones who are fine players - was replaced by someone who represents an upgrade. We addressed pretty much every need with a quality signing.

We have a much stronger side than last year’s.

Agree somewhat about fees for offloading players no longer required but we acquired them at Championship prices and we're now shopping at a much higher level so we can't let that impede our progress.

That said in my opinion good money for Struijk & Gelhardt was achieved and whilst it's possible that Piroe and Ramazani do have to come back I'd say it's unlikely. Gnonto who knows but most would seem to prefer him to come back so guess that's not much of an issue.

Also Mateo Joseph still at the club to possibly fill the 3rd striker slot later in the season subject to his recovery.

Forgot to add that both our loan signing are with pre agreed options to buy at fair and reasonable prices.

I must have gone to bed too early and missed us selling Aaronson, which mugs did we find to take him off our hands?
