Meslier...... 7.....Did not have much to do, personally don't blame him for the goal.
Kristensen..... 7.....Tried to get forward, reasonably solid at the back.
Koch... 8....Solid defending, good game.
Cooper... 8....Defence looking more reliable with him and Koch together.
Streijk.. 7....Struggled with Saka in the first half, but much improved in the second.
Roca... 8...Worked hard, creative delivery.
Adams.... 9.....Ran everywhere to win the ball back.
Aaronson... 9....Very creative, another excellent performance.
Harrison... 8....embodied the team spirit, played well.
Rodrigo.. 3...We know what we can expect from this player. Schoolboy choice of pass gave away the goal. Time to try other options now.
Sinesterra... 8... Pace, skill, creativity all showing again.

Bamford.. 7...Caused major problems when he came on. Sadly missed several opportunities especially the penalty. This 100th goal is getting into his head.
Klich... 6...not much time to impact.
Summerville... 7...Pace and trickery showed, really should have hit the target with late chance.
Gelhardt.... No time to be assessed.

Meslier-5 . Should have done better on the goal imo.

Kristensen- 8 . Did a very good job on Martinelli.

Koch-7 . Solid

Cooper-7 . Solid

Struijk-7 . Improved 2nd half to do very well.

Roca-8 . Used the ball intelligently and shielded the defence well.

Adams-7 . Slightly less good on the ball than Roca but worked hard.

Aaronson-9 . Immense again, caused no end of problems.

Harrison-5 . Meh.

Sinisterra-8 . Constant menace.

Rodrigo-3 . Idiotic pass cost us the game.

Bamford-5 . Worked hard and helped change the game but he has to do much better in front of goal.

Gelhardt-n/a

Summerville-6.5 . Lively I felt, but again should have done better with his chance.

Klich-5. Meh

No blame for goal. One good save first half. Confident throughout but rarely tested.

Another solid defensive performance against one of the league's best wide men. Got forward more today but didn't add much.

Another quality performance from out Mercedes as the back

Solid from the captain. Kept that Arsenal attacking line quiet

Struijk 8
Solid defensively and involved in a lot of the attacking dominance. Bona fide left back

Roca 8
Excellently defensively and put in a lot of key passes going forward

Adams 8
Great energy as we've got used to. Puts himself everywhere. Could maybe add a little more going forward

Aaronson 9
Top class performance second half. He was the best attacking player on either side. Some brilliant runs forward from deep

Harrison 6
Unusual role for him. Better than he's been the past couple of games. But just steady rather than making a real impact

Sinisterra 8
Lots of great attacking moves down the left. Fluffed a couple of chances. The game was crying out for one of his 30 yarders but seemed reluctant to try one today.

Rodrigo 6
Error for the goal was horrendous given his experience. But was I the only one to see his attacking performance? He was a livewire in attack, part of 3 of our best chances created in the first half. Substitution was preplanned rather than a hooking

Bamford 7
The good, the bad, and the ugly. He was huge in turning the game in the 2nd half. Arsenal didn't have an answer for the pressure he created. But. obviously, he needs to start clicking in the box

Meslier-7 . Has this disturbing habit of getting beaten to the near post. Otherwise a fine game

Kristensen- 8 . Gets better with each game.

Koch-7.5 Arsenal never looked threatening through the middle of the defense

Struijk-7 Saka gave him a tough go in the first half, but Struijk tightened up on him in the second and Saka was a non-factor from then on. Pascal Struijk has done a fantastic job playing out of position all season. Love this guy.

Roca-8 See: Cooper

Adams- The place where attacks go to die.

Aaronson-9 . "Immense again, caused no end of problems." Absolutely

Harrison- 6 Far from his best

Sinisterra-8 We need to get him the ball more.

Rodrigo-5 Put the bone in bonehead.

Bamford- 7.5 Would have been a 9 but for the penalty miss even having played only 45 minutes. We were MUCH better side with him in the game. Robbed of a goal on a very soft foul 30 seconds in to the second half.

Aaronson 8 hussled and harried and pressed never gave them a moments peace.

Harrison 4 Just not happening for Jack atm.

Sinisterra 8 A real threat whenever he had the ball.

Rodrigo 5 Nuff said the better.

Bamford 7 would have been higher except for the missed pen. Very unfortunate to have a perfectly good goal chalked off.

Not only did Pascal defend efficiently, he was involved in several intricate moves going forward, made the LB position his own.

High energetic display, his impish runs caused the gooners defence many scares.

Was having a decent game until his horrific pass, plenty of silky skills, not as direct as Bamford.

Hugely influential & his presence changed the game, his physicality unsettled Saliba & Gabriel. I actually felt sorry for Paddy after his penalty miss.

Pretty solid. Could argue he should have stayed standing tall for Saka's shot but he was damned if he does and damned if he doesn't/. Distribution a little better too.

Another re-assuring performance against a tricky wide-forward. Put himself about disrupting play but would like to see him attack a bit more. Will see if he can make it three good games in a row up against Harvey Barnes who typically is a thorn in our side.

Continued his good form at LB. Very good to see him learn during the game to stay tighter to Saka after he got away from him a couple of times int he first half. Bodes well that he can change his game to suit. Also got forward with some good interplay at times. What a surprise that he's making a decent LB!

Roca 8
Great CM play, involved in a lot of good and made some great tackles too.

Adams 8
Like Roca but does a lot more of the dirty industrious work. Made one excellent throughball at one point though he clearly isn't a playmaker.

Aaronson 9
Brilliant again. Such a handful with his ability to turn and weave. Also has a great slight of hand with the way he drops his shoulder. Deserves more goals and assists.

Harrison 6
Curates performance. Did well at 10 I thought but does not release the ball fast enough in some cases. But, a better performance than of late.

Sinisterra 9
Magic man. Looks the most likely to create something out of nothing. Definitely has that something about him. A good block in second half prevented what would have been yet another goal for him.

Rodrigo 6
Marked down a point for his moment of madness. But like Andrew, I saw a hell of a lot of good in his attacking and build up play.

Bamford 7
Improved us when coming on but desperately needs to find his shooting boots. I thought his goal should have been allowed, and he did really smash that thing. Is getting in the right positions. Marked down a half point for his poor penalty. Also would like to note he needs to reign in the petulance a bit. That push on Gabriel would have got a yellow from me.

Did well with his minutes and could have scored. the shot was a bit harder than it looks due to the defender closing the space down.
