Aaronson 8- best player by a mile
Adams 7
Sinisterra 6
Somerville 6

Cant comment.....from the start they were there for the taking but we didn't have the nouse or the balls or the talent to compare.

Meslier 5: not his most commanding performance and, I know he’s been told to do it, but surely he could see that we were just not capable of playing out from the back. Needs to mix his distribution up a bit.
Kristensen 6: started well but got very ragged towards the end, ran out of steam and lost concentration.
Koch 5: the goal was not his fault but had a tough time against Leicester’s speed merchants.
Llorente 4: prone to making too many mistakes, still makes me nervous every time he has the ball at his feet trying to play out from the back.
Firpo 4: not good enough simple as that.
Adams 6: all action again wins the ball well but sometimes his distribution let’s him down.
Roca 4: poor performance all in all capped off with a pathetic error for their 1st goal.
Sinisterra 6: good going forward but does nothing defensively. Extra point for creating our most exciting play of the game.
Aaronson 8: our best player by a mile. Took the game to Leicester both up front in the 1st half and from further back in the second. This lad takes some stick from the opposition but never ceases to try. He will go up in the world of football and it won’t be with us I fear.
Summerville 7: came alive in the 2nd half and looked decent. Still a bit lightweight though.
Bamford 5.5: toiled manfully to no avail.

Subs:
Cooper 7: should have been on from the start.
Rodrigo 5: once again all huff and puff but very little to show for it.
Harrison 5: managed a decent cross but other than that not much effect on the game.
Gelhardt n/a: had a little longer this time but didn’t really get into the game.
Klich n/a: no time to rescue the game

Meslier 7 (Fairly confident he'd have saved the first one had Koch not intervened)

Kristensen - 8.5 - One poor pass almost putting us in trouble but the best defender tonight by a country mile. Cracking cross first half that sinisterra should have anticipated

Firpo - 6 - Rusty as f**k but showed glimpses of his clever passing later. Defensively meh, caught too far upfield for the second but unlike Struijk he's a wing back and it's not his area to cover, it becomes the centre backs job) Needs a run but hope he doesn't get it. Struijk is class

Koch - 5 - Marked down for the error, and it was imo. Subbed early
Llorente - 5 - Awful as the LCB, (4) slightly better playing right (6)

Adams - 7 - Busy but wayward with his passing tonight, that's probably down to poor movement so benifit and all that
Roca - 6 - Lost possession for the first but we shouldn't concede everytime we lose possession there, but it seems like it. Subbed early

Aaronson 8 - Busy, clever, subtle. His quality highlighted by the amount of times he gets fouled

Summerville - 9 - Very good game I thought, a bit too narrow for me but that's where he was asked to play. A couple of good attempts on goal, the second was going in it seemed till deflected

Sinisterrra - 8.5 - Magic for the shot that hit the crossbar, would have gone in if it hadn't brushed a defender en route. Marked down for missing the run for the Kristensen cross... had he made it it was on a plate for him

Bamford - 4 - Awful movement today from Paddy, looked to carry zero goal threat. Old habit of tucking himself behind defenders keaving no out ball for the midfielder, treacle slow, missed an easy header. The reason we looked so toothless first half. As a captain almost useless

Rodrigo - 6 - Better than Paddy, couple of really nice outballs and good across the box. Probably needs not to play much in our half.
Joffy - 6.5 on too late, didn't really get into the game
Cooper - 7.5 - On his game when he stays calm he's a vety good instinctive premier class CB. Maybe the best at the club. Resting him probably cost us the opening goal and we lost any confidence once we went one down. Which is a symptom of relegation form
Harrison, - 6 - You know what, think I'd need to rewatch as can't recall Harrison at all.
Klich - 6 - Not sure why you send a player on that late 2 down...

Meslier.. 7.....Not at fault for the goals, did not have anything to do.
Kristensen... 6....Our best defender tonight.
Firpo..... 3......Cant keep saying the same thing.
Koch.... 5.....The og was not his fault, but looks much more secure alongside Cooper.
Llorente.... 4.....Just does not give me confidence, three of those points were for the bicycle kick technique.
Adams.... 7......Gave everything as always.
Roca..... 3.....His worst game for Leeds.
Summerville.... 6.....I think this guy is the real deal, just needs a decent run in the team.
Bamford... 5....Pretty in effective tonight.
Aaronson... 8...Our best player again.
Sinesterra.... 7.. Glimpses of his class, very unlucky hitting the bar.

Rodrigo... 4....Does not contribute enough for me. Lucky to get away with another misplaced back pass.
Harrison.... 5....Did not get into the game.
Gelhardt.... 5.....No time to impact.
Klich...... 5......Even less time.

Marsch.... 3.....Got to try something different. Ditch Firpo, Llorente and Rodrigo.

Meslier 6 Not much he could do about the goals. Didn't have to pull off too many other saves.

Kristensen 6 Like the rest of the defence, was guilty of getting sucked into the ball for the second goal and leaving Harvey Barnes free. Showed willingness to get forward, but didn't have the quality to cut the hosts open

Llorente 5 Some pieces of poor judgement, but also a couple of important interventions at points when the defence was under the cosh.

Koch 5 His run of what felt like flawless defensive performances come to an end. One of the better players in a difficult start to the season, but completely messed up a simple slide for the opening goal. Hooked at the break.

Firpo 4 Consistently left space in behind as he roamed forward from left-back. No memorable clangers for him personally.

Adams 7 Continues to be one of, if not, the best players in the team. Anticipates danger frequently, gets his foot in and makes turnovers for Leeds. So tenacious and combative.

Roca 5 Caught in possession for the opening goal. Nowhere near as assertive in the middle as he was on Sunday. Hooked at the break.

Summerville 5 Had a couple of decent looks at goal in the first half and fluffed them both. Still doesn't look able to make an impression at this level with these defences. Looks hurried and crowded out of every decent position he takes

Aaronson 7 By far the team's biggest attacking threat. Carried the ball well and found team-mates in decent positions for shots at goal. Such quick feet at close quarters in tight spots

Sinisterra 6 Some decent flashes of threat, but not doing it on anywhere near a consistent enough basis to turn games in United's favour.

Bamford 4 Anonymous. A combination of the tactics and his fitness made him look redundant on the night. Always a yard away from where he needs to be when deliveries come into the box

subs
Cooper 6 A second-half clean sheet. No major dramas from the captain. Should have done better with a rare chance in the opposition box.

Rodrigo 6 End product not always there, including another dodgy pass to the opposition in his own half, but played with heart and grafted to get his team out of their pit.

Harrison 5 Didn't bring anything to concern the hosts.
