They've had numerous chances to pull out of the corrupt competition, they always bleat on about Germany & Mexico in particular getting the cup again when we are overlooked, then places like the USA (no real leagues) and now Qatar (no stadia, no infrastrusure, still things incomplete) not to mention the slave labour / human rights blah blah blah, but guess what, they still compete.
If England and Germany / France pulled out when Qatar was drawn, that would have put major doubt / concern into matters, but they did'nt, they're all hypocrites.

People seem to have little issue with gestures like the poppy, or anthems, and all that marking of war and death and colonialism and arms races and nationalism and politics. But then get all upset when the gesture is about fighting racism or homophobia. When I think it kinda should be the other way around...scrap anthems and poppies, mark issues that continue to affect society.
