Peter Walton said it's out of play and Souness thinks it's corrupt
Of course they would, any fair-minded football fan would think it's dodgy. I like Souness, he calls it as he sees it, not glossing over the incident as other pundits do.

They continuously undermine themselves/VAR with ridiculous and sometimes laughable decisions.
It still seems way too subjective.
The equivalent in the NFL works way more effectively
As it does in rugby & cricket.
Where there is money, there is corruption, the game stinks.

No you are not wrong Chris, anyone who defends that decision need to make an appointment with Specsavers promptly.
Every Leeds fan would be fuming if that call was made against us.
Not just Leeds fans, England fans too. No doubt the same ones would cry if VAR gave Maradona handball.

Literally cheated and yet some still claim it makes him better than Messi
It wasn't the Hand of God goal that made his reputation at all. It was scoring the greatest goal in the WC in the same game, leading a weak Argentina team to win the WC and an even weaker team to a WC final, dragging Napoli from nothing to 2 titles and a UEFA Cup etc.
Germany got screwed today. And nobody is happier than I am. Because in 2002 the United States reached the Quarter Finals. And we had to face Germany. And we dominated those Teutonic bastards. In the 50th minute our current Manager Greg Berhalter would have scored off a corner kick if not for Torsten Frings handball clearance off the line. It was blatantly obvious to everyone except the Referee. The Scottish idiot Hugh Dallas. This is Karma. f**k Germany!!

I totally forgot about that handball and it brings it all back now as I was watching that game live when I lived in Finland. Didn't Hugh Dallas make another bad call in that game, or was that another game?

International football is actually a level down from Premiership football..
That's a fair call, faaip, but I don't think shining in an international side necessarily equates to a player being able to cut it in the Prem. The cream will, obviously, but I still wouldn't take a punt on WC performances alone.

Neither would I and we have in the past to our detriment, Brolin and Roque Jr spring to mind.
